Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will.

Had a very pleasant experience here. My server's name was Jess, I think, who was very nice and polite. I had the mixed grill and the steak was cooked exactly how I asked. Even though it was pretty busy (lots of families in as it was Mother's Day) I didn't have to wait very long for my food. Conclusion : Great food and great service.

Bad service but great food. Took 30 minutes for me to be served, and that was after I had to get someone's attention. But the food was phenomenal. Perfectly cooked and very delicious. The portion was great as well.

Steak was very good however ordered medium rare closer to rare. Rib eye needed a little longer and needed to rest. But enjoyed triple cut chips nice.

Went here for Christmas Dinner. Was 11 people in total at the table. Food was brilliant, however the service was very slow. Had a 40 minute wait between starter and main course and another long wait till desserts arrived. 4th course (coffee) never arrived. Good selection of drinks available from the bar.

Friendly, helpful staff and good food. Enjoyed the steak which was cooked as requested. As this is adjacent to the Premier Inn, there is a mix a people but whilst busy, it wasn't crowded.
