Had a wonderful stay here in Buttermilk cottage with my husband, "kids" 17&21 and whippet, we had a fabulous time. The setting is really peaceful and the house felt really homely and welcoming. The gardens were beautiful with lots of nice touches and the two large fields were perfect for walking the dog, we even saw a couple of deer one day. We all enjoyed the pool table but especially our kids. Kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated the goodies left by Judy and Norman, who were our lovely, friendly hosts. The bathrooms were equally well equipped with plenty of towels and travel toiletries which was fantastic as certain members of our group had forgotten to pack some!. The house was also lovely and clean. We would highly recommend Beech Farm Cottages and hope to return in the future.
Stayed there for a week in May 2022. The Cottage was super clean and cozy, the garden and surroundings absolutely beautiful and the owners just lovely. We are still relaxed from that holiday after 3 weeks at home again. Would love to visit again! Norman and Judy, we miss you
Welcomed by friendly and most helpful Judy and Norman to a clean quaint home away from home! Well equipped cottage and laundry facilities on site. Beautiful surroundings from our window. We felt comfortable and rested during our week's stay.Rooms: 5/5
We stayed at Beech Farm Cottages for 2 wks earlier this month, July 2022 and cannot rate it high enough. It has everything you could need for a self catering holiday with lots of beautiful gardens, patios and outdoor spces to enjoy.Judy and Norman were more than helpful, very friendly and very hospitable. It was like being home from home and we will definitely beback in the very near future. I qould highly recommend Beech Farm Cottages
Amazing ..so peaceful
Excellent accommodation, spotlessly clean, everything provided you could possibly think of. Judy and Norman are great hosts and are always on site if there are any problems. The cottages have been transformed from old farm buildings. Each has a different theme, very comfortable to live in. Grounds are beautifully kept, with lovely flowers. Bird life is amazing too. We have had lots of really good holidays here and are disappointed that we can't make it this year. June & Brian Peck
Great experience! Well equipped cottages that are kept really clean. Judy and Norman were always there to help us out with any questions. We had a lovely quiet stay and will be back.
Just back from an amazing week in Buttermilk Cottage, can’t recommend this place enough, spotlessly clean, beautiful setting and dog friendly the hosts Judy and Norman are two very special people who made our holiday perfect,Rooms: 5/5
We have stayed at these cottages several times and in 3 different cottages.... The first time was on our anniversary where we stayed in the Red Room.... wow what a place we loved it.... and you have just got to try the pole lol.... the other times have been for a family birthday and get together where quite a few of us have stayed in the various cottages.. all the cottages are spotlessly cleaned and have everything you need for your hols, including a great outside entertainment space. Norman and Judy are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much bother, all they want you to do is have a great holiday and they are always about if you need them. We would recommend it to anyone..... Thanks for some amazing memories....... Richard and Mandy !!
If we could give more stars we would. We have been to these cottages many times over the years and we cannot fault them in any way. Norman & Judy are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much to ensure that you have a perfect stay. We would recommend these cottages to anyone. Can't wait to return.
