Took my car in for an mot (which was slightly overpriced at £45). The car failed on 2 counts and to save me having to get it home (avoiding chance of getting pulled over for no mot) to work on it myself, I asked them to complete the work. Quoted £95 for the repair to 1 item which I agreed to and told them not to fix the second as I would return with my tools to fix (was a simple case of securing an earth). Once I arrived with my tools 30 mins later, they had fixed the item I told them not too and were just about to start on the second. The work took longer than expected and then I was greeted with a bill of just over £180 for the work on both items (despite telling them not to do some of the work) I put my view across to the staff member on reception (possibly manager) who was fairly rude and aggressive in his response.
The work done was to a reasonable standard but I will not be returning.

Outstanding family run business.
  Had a timing belt on a Renault.  £3.000 main dealer. Done for £1,100.
Ford Fusion timing belt service and MOT.
