Great service from start to finish. Mike was super, the phone was always answered and he was able to answer all of our questions. I've waited over 6 months to make this review to ensure I am able to give honest feedback. We visited several times, trying out the mattresses before ordering... as it seems I have difficulty in making a decision first time round!! The bed frame was a little delayed due to covid but Mike kept us up to date all the way through. The bed frame is a beautiful, metal, art deco style. It is solid, it doesnt squeak or come loose and it remains scratch free! The mattress is their most popular design and is built in-house. We paid extra for the spring sides which I can't recommend highly enough! Super comfy, firm base but with a little give. GREAT for my bad back!! Delivered on the dot and even followed up with a courtsy phone call a week later. I would never purchase a mattress online again and it feels great supporting a local business.
A great service from Mike at Beds by Design. His range of knowledge regarding bunk beds available enabled us to select the perfect beds for our grandchildren. Alongside the excellent quality mattresses for these bespoke beds. We are delighted and highly recommend Beds by Design and our 6 and 3 year old grandchildren are absolutely delighted, and want lots of sleepovers! Thank you Mike

Excellent customer service. Assistance and advice was genuinely offered when asked but not pushy. We were given space to try out the mattresses and discuss on our own too. Received a phone call to ensure everything was OK with our mattresses - we're really pleased with them. Decent quality with a quick turnaround too.
Bought a jessy king size bed & Richmond mattress from Mark. Can only say we had excellent service from start to finish & wouldn't hesitate about buying from Mark again. Went out of his way to help & loving the new bed.
Beds by Design are a fantastic family run business. Mike was able to help us design our new bed frame, hold onto it in his warehouse until we were ready to recieve it and even delivered it on the same day we made the final payment. He also assembled the bed frame for us and made sure it was in working order. We love our new bed frame in our newly decorated bedroom. Will definitely be recommending them to anyone in the area who needs a new bed frame or mattress.
Just by chance I drove past this place and thought I'd have a nosey. I'd been in Dreams and was probably going to buy from there. However, on viewing what was on offer and chatting with Mike and finally decided to buy from here. Delivery was within a couple of weeks which is good. On delivering the bed Mike realised what a challenge this was going to be - the staircase has a kite winder on it and therefore not much space. With lots of effort and determination the bed was finally taken upstairs. The headboard surprisingly though was just too big. This had to be sent back to the manufacturers where it was made 6" smaller. 2 weeks later this was then delivered and fitted. I'd certainly recommend this place.
Mike was very knowledgeable on the different types of mattresses on offer, I personally chose 'Ryburn' which I have found very comfortable, have now been sleeping on it for a few weeks following his guidance on turning the mattress often especially until it settles. Once again mine is very comfortable and I'm really pleased. Thank you
We bought a custom-sized mattress about 14 years from this company when it Beckside Beds and were so happy with it that went back for a replacement and we haven't been disappointed. Mike gave us the space to try out the different types and choose at our leisure but was on hand to answer all our questions. My wife says she didn't realise what a difference a new mattress would make until the first night's sleep on the new one. My recent back pains have gone away after just fours days! We also bought some wool-filled Baavet pillows and a bespoke mattress protector which are all great. The service has been excellent and delivery was prompt despite the mattress being a custom size. Mike and Jack did a great job getting it into attic bedroom which was a bit of a squeeze up the narrow staircase. Absolutely no complaints and no regrets. Thanks Mike!
Seamless experience from first meeting Mike to delivery and installation. Purchased a mattress and base to fit into an existing metal frame. Perfect thank you Getting a better nights sleep also !!
