Lovely place to go with kids. Many books in children's library. Relaxing atmosphere and so friendly staff. They even have a fish tank! We want to return back
Wonderful place for children so many collections of books.Weekend fun for kids.
Nice library to shuffle the internet while you feel you would be lazy doing that at home. Not really good for deep studying that requires conduciveness and concentration. You could have children around sometimes, also adults and families discussing. It's pretty simple place for out of house casual reading but not some too serious academic work.
Small but very nice library. People there are very kind and invite you a hot tea or cofre on a cold day.

Always friendly and helpful staff, obviously closed at moment because of covid 19 but very much look forward to the reopening. Recommend signing up for Borrow box to borrow ebooks whilst library closed. If not a member of library can join online.
Big thank you to all staff and volunteers at Beddow Library. Ordered 3 books on Friday, 12th March on Monday, 15th phoned to let me know one available. Tuesday went to collect and they had a second book as well. Made my day.
Can't renew books online. Be warned - Its a bizarrely complex process. There are plenty of links to renewing but they all go to the Catalogue page. There in barely visible tiny letters in pale gold on blue background is the word account. Click on that to finally see the list of books on loan; and yes they are overdue. I should be able to renew and settle later; but it refuses to renew - just reminds me they are overdue and urges me to renew. Grrrrr. 1 star is because it's the minimum and to be fair to the staff they are great; it's the shoddy computer system that I'm cross with :
Excellent customer service friendly. The children enjoyed the journey round the books.
