Rang 11am, after the morning triage, for poorly 7yr old. Had a GP callback/triage and advice within the hour and a further text to advise which pharmacy to collect medication from - all during the busiest week ever. Advice re symptoms given and opportunity to be seen if required… 1st class service from Receptionist and GP, thank you so much!
I have received good care from the doctors at this surgery, but getting access to them and getting continuity of treatment i.e. getting an appointment with the same doc you spoke to on a previous occasion seems to get increasingly difficult. Receptionist are often very defensive. Getting access to healthcare shouldn't involve an argument or the sense that as a patient you are nothing but a problem!
The only problem I have with this practice is the extremely rude receptionist, I ran out of meds due to my delivery not turning up on the Friday. Rang the receptionist explaining my situation and that I’m diabetic and need my emergency prescription, only to be told to ring 111 as we are closed in 20 mins. Very unhelpful and terrible attitude. I ask to ring back before the closed. I never received the call and only hope the receptionist in question is replaced as she has no compassion and people skills
Absolutely terrible service. Receptionist is unhelpful and just directs you to 111 if you have a cough. Won't even give me a phone appointment. Will definitely be looking for a new GP. One star rating is too good for this mess of a surgery.
I'm torn between the surly/rude receptionist or the lack of care from the majority of doctors at this practice. If you can go elsewhere. Since when did receptionists have a medical degree to ask what the problem is. Everytime we call the receptionist is hard hard work.
I have been with surgery for twenty five years they are amazing Dr. Burrell has seen my family through dark and hopeful god bless them
Very poor service and extremely incompetent Doctors. Recently had diagnosis left over my answer phone from a one of your doctors who has never seen me. Very poor. Nor did I see said doctor for the original complaint. Was not even examined by your surgery for the complaint. I have had to keep the messages and will be putting in a formal complaint with the NHS. What’s with being open until 8.00pm for us who work that cant get in before 6pm to be only offered appointments in the day time. What’s the point in opening late if you have no doctors that will take later appointments. An absolute joke of a practice. They don’t even call you when you have a fixed telephone appointment and when their doctors say they going to call you on Tuesday at 6pm. Don’t forget to ask them in what month and year are they planning to call back as I am still awaiting my call and its been at least four months. Just hope any one who use’s this surgery that they are fit and well as god help you if your seriously ill- my advice go somewhere else.
It's now 18:00 and surgery closes at 18:30 but have already closed the phone lines, what's that about?
