We were passing on our way to Cornwall and as it looked nice and it was dinner time we popped in. Staff very friendly, good variety of foods on the menu. Food well presented and tasted good. My only small gripe was that it was a bit cold. I suppose for staff rushing around serving it was OK but it did feel a little chilly sitting in the middle of the restaurant. There were radiators around the outside of the room so maybe warmer there. Would go back again if passing.
Lovely food and a last minute booking. The ham and eggs was brilliant! Good quality with a lovely spot by the fire. Plenty of local drinks on tap. Will definitely come again, thank you.Service: 5/5
The 6 of us had a fantastic Christmas Day meal at Bearslake Inn. We arrived a little early for our meal and we were shown to our table right away. The decorations and the table set up were really nice along with our own name cards. It felt super cosy and had a lovely Christmas feeling. All food courses were really tasty and we were all full, by the time the mince pies came out! Overall really nice setting with great food. Thanks to Julian, Lisa , Poppy and the rest of the team at Bearslake Inn for making our Christmas Day meal a wonderful experience.
Went for lunch. Called and booked ahead and they were very accommodating seat by the fire as we were walking there Food was served promptly and was delicious. Well priced. Faultless service and the Top Sail was an excellent pint. Will be back!
What a gem. We stayed overnight as an Anniversary treat and enjoyed a delicious dinner. The room was lovely with a beautiful view and spotlessly clean. A breakfast hamper was delivered to our room and was a perfect start to the day. The whole Bearslake Inn team are delightful .We will be back SOON.Rooms: 5/5
A gorgeous, quirky, quaint hotel. Service and cleanliness exemplary and food delicious. Breakfast hamper a delight. Location amazing with easy access to Dartmoor. The only downside was piped music that disturbed the room in the afternoon and the isolated dining table in the evening.
Lovely cosy dog friendly Inn. Room was quiet with wonderful views of Dartmoor hills. Food excellent. Service was very friendly. Had a very nice non-alcoholic gin and tonic. Rooms: Spacious. Nice view. Quiet Food & drinks: Food excellent. Good choice of drinks and nice to find a non-alcoholic gin on offer.
Food was OK but service terrible. Our friends were running a bit late and literally 5mins from being seated we were asked if they would be here soon and if we could start ordering without them, constantly rushedService: 4/5
Super decoration and presentation. Service very good and food exceptional. Only one problem was there was no heating in our bedroom or bathroom.Rooms: 4/5
