We are specialists in diagnosing, treating and preventing problems with joints, bones, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves.
We just love treating back pain, neck pain, pregnancy related complaints, headache etc...... and we do a pretty good job!
We utilises a wide variety of techniques in the clinic including gentle manipulation, mobilisation, soft tissue massage and various stretching techniques.
As well as chiropractic treatment we also offer sports and remedial massage, depression tissue massage, back strengthening programmes and other rehabilitation.

I have been with the practice for about a year now and want to express my gratitude for their treatment, support, advice and maintenance, without which, my recovery from a back injury, I have no doubt, would have taken so much longer. Sarah has been fabulous; professional but kind with genuine interest and concern and in my opinion healing hands! The girls on reception have also been fab, especially  Lesley, who is great to chat to whilst waiting to be seen, adding to the relaxed atmosphere and just what you need to help distract from the pain. To the owner of Bearsden Chiropractic. After submitting my complaint and poor experience on Wednesday, I did not expect a call from you to argue with me, talk over me and not listen.  I advised you numerous times that you were talking over me and not letting me share my side, but every time I started a sentence - another interruption came its way.  Rather than trying to resolve and be compassionate, you have caused even more unnecessary stress. I hope you are happy with how you behaved.  As a small business owner myself I would never dare treat a customer in that way, even if they’d “only been 3 times” - as you kindly reminded me on more than one occasion.  I’m glad to hear you valued my custom this much.  You mention there were “other patients” plural in the waiting room, when there was in fact just one male client waiting.  Just as you’ve suggested that he witnessed no hostile behaviour, my husband was witness to the telephone conversation you had with me yesterday and was absolutely appalled. Not only how you started the call, but how you continued down the same argumentative route the whole way through.  It appears to be beyond you that, at over 37 weeks pregnant, doing another 70 minute round trip the next day, for being a mere 9 minutes late not over 10 minutes, was not a “better alternative”.  Anyone who I have spoken to since Wednesday believes this to be a horrendous way to treat any client - regardless of how many times they’ve been.  And it’s concerning that Bearsden Chiropractic seem to be the only ones who don’t agree with that.

After living with a painful back for over 30 years and several mis diagnosis from various Doctors I decided to try a different approach to managing my daily struggles with my back pain. I did the usual and looked for someone local with good reviews. I am so glad I did. I have been attending appointments with Mette with fantastic results. I no longer need to take prescription painkillers and have a pain free back that is allowing me to work pain free and enjoy exercising once again. Mette always makes you feel very welcome and explains in an easy to understand way what is needed and how she will treat my back on each session. If you suffering from issues with your back go and get an initial assessment it is only 40 minutes but could make a huge difference to your quality of life.

I’ve been suffering from neck pain and headaches for so long. Not anymore. I’ve only been visiting the clinic for 2 weeks  2 visits per week and already, my headaches have almost gone  and my neck pain has subsided. Mette is a true professional and is extremely thorough, giving me the confidence to relax during my treatment. If you are in pain, do not hesitate - book in. I must also say the clinic is immaculate and the team are welcoming and helpful.

I would highly recommend Dr Mette Stopa and her team based in Bearsden Chiropractic Clinic as since attending appointments with her my quality of life has greatly improved due to Dr Stopa’s excellent chiropractic skills and professionalism.  Before attending appointments at the clinic I had debilitating lower back pain for years and had tried various treatments but had no success. Then I went to see Dr. Mette Stopa, and the difference has been incredible. I was initially nervous about my first appointment. However from the first one onwards all of the team have been very friendly and put me at ease and the reception area is comfortable and welcoming.  If you're struggling with back or neck pain, I strongly recommend the Bearsden Chiropractic Clinic. I now have regular back maintenance appointments and will continue my follow up care to enable me to have a good quality and active life thanks to Dr Stopa and her team.

Just left the clinic upset at 37 weeks pregnant and in severe pain.  I called in advance to say I’d be 5 mins late for my 10.20am app. Lesley said if I wasn’t there by 10.25am my appointment would be cancelled. Considering I would make it by then based on Sat nav, I continued my 35 min journey. I’ve been to the clinic numerous times and always had at least a 5 - sometimes 10 or 15 minute wait. And I’ve not complained once.  So I thought chiropractor Sarah and the reception staff would be accommodating due to my current situation.  I unfortunately arrived at 10.29am and was met with hostility from Lesley at reception saying my appointment was now cancelled.  Clearly upset and asking why I couldn’t at least have half of my appointment or the next person wait 5 minutes like I had done on multiple occasions, I was met with a firm no.  It’s clear there are accommodations made for some clients but not others. Even if you are heavily pregnant and in pain.  Go elsewhere if you want to be treated with respect and dignity

Came to the clinic barely being able to stand straight, immediately after my first session with Jenny the pain was almost gone and I was able to walk and move around as ease. I cannot explain the huge difference attending BCCG has had for me and my life. All the staff are soo friendly and welcoming.  My only regret is not going to them sooner !!  Thanks so much

I have been coming to Bearsden Chiropractic Clinic for a couple of years now and travel approximately 20 miles one way just for the 5 star experience.  I started going during my first pregnancy, most chiropractors I had contacted closer to home wouldn't entertain treating a woman in pregnancy. But, here they do and the relief you get from the adjustments are fantastic.  The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the treatments are precise and thorough.  Highly recommend!!

Would just like to say a big Thank you to Metta for all her good work on my back over the last 4 weeks 1st class service and would also like to thank Lynsey Paterson for the sports massage today great stuff and also a mention to the lady’s on reception especially young Jacqueline never know might bump into you  at Drimsynie lol, again thanks to all for a 1st class service

Great staff, very professional.   They have really helped to reduce my long-term pain.   I only wish I had tried it years ago.
