I absolutely love going here, my last visit was 27 July and the lady in the shop was more helpful and knowledgeable than any GP I've ever seen! The tincture she recommended for my gum problems worked amazing, I was eating and drinking normally within 24 hours. I cannot thank that lady enough. I highly recommend this friendly herbalist.
I attended here for a massage earlier this year. My Parents had bought me a voucher for the shorter session. I did used to go about 20 years ago, where I would get abdominal massages to help with my IBS. It was a masseur I saw then, but he was also really good. When I first saw the masseuse I felt like I recognised her from somewhere, but I couldn't place it - and I mean recognised in a good, familiar way. First time going, they check any health conditions and ask about any medications you take and things like that. She then leaves so you can take off your top and lie on the table. I had been led to believe I could keep a t-shirt on, as I did when I went for the abdominal massages. Normally I would have felt uncomfortable, but I felt so at ease, it was not a problem. It's also because of the massage oil used. It was absolutely amazing and really relaxing. Due to my nerves I found myself chatting loads, but once the massage was finished and she put the towel over me, I could have just drifted off, as it was so comfortable. Once I was finished, I had a look at their shop and found they sold crystals, so I bought a couple. The girl behind the desk was very helpful. I left there feeling relaxed, happy and content, for the first time in a long time. I will definitely be back and I strongly recommend other people attend.
I have ordered a few times from their online shop, and found everything to be high quality, and their delivery is fast. I will continue to order with Woodland Herbs as they have ingredients I find difficult to track down elsewhere.
I've been going to woodland herbs for a few years and I've always found the staff really friendly and approachable apart from one man who is very standoffish and definitely unapproachable.Yedterday I went to purchase herbs to help me heal from breast cancer that I got diagnosed the day before and sadly the same day I my brother passed away so I was not only emotional but scared The lady who was lovely was making up my order and I happened to ask the man who was standing behind the counter with his back sort of turned if they sold the whole bag...he turned round and basically bit my head off for interrupting him on something he was doing... Normally I would have said something but I knew I would have broken down.I thought if you worked with herbs or things like that you would be happy to help people with knowledge on how to heal naturally.It was only me and my daughter in the shop so they weren't exactly run off their feet.Maybe if this man is reading this ...next time he should maybe show a bit of respect to the people who purchase from him and not treat them like naughty children.Shame on you
Excellent selection of herbs, tinctures and supplements chosen carefully for their quality. Highly recommend the various therapies offered and the herbalist and LDM treatments of Anne make wonders!
Staff are all incredibly kind and helpful - i attend often for MLD with Anna and I could not recommend her and the team more!
Scott is the best acupuncturist I’ve been to. He makes sure he gets the correct unique point for your body. He has a nice presence where I always feel comfortable and relaxed. The only place where I generally feel results. The reception staff are nice as well. All round great experience that I will continue to return to.
Very rude and aggressive over the phone The receptionist Jen Gray called me a liar when I had to cancel an appt due to an emergency ! She said I was told the cancellation policy when I made the appt over the phone the previous day . I certainly was not told the cancellation policy at all. I'm still in shock at the way I was spoken to This business needs to concentrate on staff training and how to treat people with respect and record phone calls in future. HORRENDOUS
I fell across this place by a very happy coincidence. I came do Glascow as the medical doctor for the Brazilian cycling medical team for the 2023 world championships, and a very good friend steered me to this place for a much needed massage. What a wonderful experience it was! Definitely one of the best professionals that I've encountered around the world as a sports medicine doctor, I've been around quite a bit. Highly and thoroughly recommend it as well!
The staff are all friendly, welcome and incredibly knowledgeable. The shop offers a range of services at competitive prices and is easy to visit from the city center. I've been getting massages from Barney for months as he's fantastic at what he does and I always feel like he fixes aches and pains. I've also tried acupuncture there and one session got rid of months of back pain. Cannot recommend this place enough!
