Not very cheap, but make a whole day and you'll get your money's worth! Put effort in to see everything and it'll be a fascinating day. Good weather, or at least dry, helps. For those.with longer memories, there'll be lots of little surprises. Wonderful.

High ropes experience was very well organised. Pub is cosy and comfortable too .

Had the pleasure of stopping a night, and enjoying a meal in the Stables restaurant, all very nice and a most wonderful visit to the nearby Beamish open air museum.

Nice spot. do great Sunday lunch. No phone signal so you will get peace and quiet.
