Featuring the World’s first CrazyClimb installation, climbing walls up to 17m high and extensive low-level bouldering including an area suitable for young children, Beacon Climbing Centre is an awesome all-weather activity venue suitable for all the family. Instruction is available for all levels of ability.

Beacon Climbing Centre is conveniently located on the Cibyn Estate in Caernarfon on the main A4086 Caernarfon to Llanberis road and also hosts Caffi Barcud – a premium café open to anyone and offering spectacular views of the climbing walls.

This centre has the friendliest staff. We went for a crazy climb session and the coaches including Charlotte and Jacob were friendly and approachable and helped the kids. Afterwards they were very accommodating when the girls wanted to do a climbing session on the walls with their uncle. It's a lovely centre with a huge range of walls and climbs for all abilities and a lovely cafe too for those who fulfil the taxi driver role rather than the climber role!!  Will definitely return.

Incredible instructors and hence its very popular. Need to book ahead rather than look at the number of 'climbers' on their website which is very confusing! My kids loved their hour, woukd recommend!

Best indoor climbing wall we have been to in the UK, hence why it is always busy, although big enough to still get a lot of climbing in. There are so many good lead routes and the setting is excellent not just based on how tall you are. Finally the staff are professional and very welcoming

Wide variety of climbs with very helpful staff clean and good facilities. The only issue is parking, which is free, and can be put up with. A good way to spend get some exercise and have fun time.

Dropped in with my son for a bouldering climbing session, was able to rent shoes. Amazing place, the kids section has a elephant and a traverse wall, if your partner is into climbing you can sit up there book them into the children’s section and you can sit and have a coffee while they have a play around. My son then found the monkey climbing section, we enquired and managed to get the last place on the session. I would recommend booking though.  Will return.

Awesome climbing wall for all ages and abilities. Great kids climbing area. We were there for 4 hours and it was hard to get the kids to leave.

Big centre, good bouldering & challenging sport routes from what I saw, as I only bouldered. Friendly staff, decent coffee and a nice cafe area.

Visited today , me and my daughter climbed on the crazy climb part of the walls and it was great ! The instructor Maurice was really enthusiastic and encouraging with my daughter when she was on the crazy climb and helped her until she eventually got to the top ! We will be back .

Lots of choice for climbing, including bouldering and a crazy climb area aimed more for kids, but adults can give it a go! . Everyone was really friendly, climbers and staff alike. You can bring your own equipment or hire what you need, then take a break in the cafe with a cake and a brew once you are knackered! We could have eaily spent all day there!

Thanks so much to Piers and Francesca. They have both been wonderful with my girls and made both our visits really relaxed and enjoyable. Both a huge credit to the business. We will definitely be back soon. Thanks again.
