The Bay Running Shop is owned and run by runners for runners. Providing an excellent service with a comprehensive gait analysis and fitting service. Wether your an experienced or new to running we can help you.

We offer expert advice, a free run club for all abilities and free monthly workshops. Covering everything from how to run efficiently, sports nutrition, cross training, trail running, training plans and how to execute and much more.

We have a fully equipped training studio attached to the shop where we can also provide coaching sessions.

First class service from James! Really knowledgeable and passionate about his sport and an excellent development coach. Went in for a gait analysis and new shoes and was blown over by how much new information I came away with along with a different, more understanding training technique. Looking forward to my next race and going for a run as soon as I get back!!!!
Proper running shop with loads of knowledge and the chance to have a gait analysis in-house to give you more insight into how you run and what shoes are best for you. Very happy with my new shoes and got some great tips on improving my cadence and foot-strike.

I purchased a pair of Brookes for an Ultra Marathon which during cleaning them I noticed a tear. On contacting Bay Running I cannot thank them enough in the way which they dealt with the problem and had them replaced. I will definitely be going back for my next pair of trainers
I took my family to the Bay Running Shop for the 3D gait analysis and to update our old exhausted road running trainers. We each had an opportunity to use the treadmill for the analysis. The information was incredible and super technical to the untrained eye but James broke it down for us to understand and be able to use going forward. Unsurprisingly my 16 year old middle distance son had almost perfect form, myself and my partner need more help! We tried a number of different shoes on the treadmill to assess how they supported our form and energy efficiency. James also supplied some excellent tips to further help and improve our running. We all left with new shoes suited to our differing running gaits and some incredibly useful new knowledge into how our bodies are moving when we run. Super service, friendly, helpful and we will definitely be recommending The Bay Running Shop to all our running friends.
I had a brilliant experience which resulted in a spontaneous and thorough gait analysis using the new equipment James has. I was really impressed with the coaching and grateful for the advice towards my running technique. This resulted in matching me with my perfect new running shoes. Thanks team!

I’ve had several pairs of running shoes from Bay Running Shop. The advice and service is excellent - I wouldn’t go anywhere else. As a sports therapist I send all of my runners here too as I know they will get well looked after. We are so lucky to have this great independent shop in Kent.
Super happy I came here. Got the comfiest shoes in the history of shoes and a very knowledgeable, human, non-salesy customer service approach which went a long way to make me feel comfortable. Also free gait analysis which I wasn't expecting! A friendly shop with a wide range to choose from, will definitely be my go-to for any other bits I need. Thank you!
