Stayed for a few days while we explored the local area and cannot fault it. Kathy was extremely kind and helpful throughout, the breakfasts were delicious and the rooms spotless. The price was great value for money and we will definitely be back to this lovely little pub!
One of the nicest inns we've stayed at. Lovely landlady, lovely staff, great breakfast and comfortable nights sleep
Not been there for a while and what a great pub it is.... Lovely atmosphere and great beer
Best pub in Totnes Town. Brilliant service and atmosphere; beer garden for sun and shade; music for every occasion.
Best pub in town. Lovely bar staff. Well kept bevvies
Had a very comfortable stay here for 1 night. We had the smallest room of 3 which was adequate for us and spotlessly clean. It was a Friday night so a little noisey outside because the pub is on a fairly busy road. Staff are friendly and helpful. We stay here quite regularly and will continue to do so.
Watching and waiting for the nice lady to pour a pint of what turned out to be warm lager using 2 glasses and a spatula was a bit like being stuck behind a learner driver when your in a hurry. The local Pandit IPA I had was very nice but again warm. Hopefully the lady if indeed she was a newby will get instruction on how to pour a pint correctly. Apart from that nice Pub not to bad.
Visited this fantastic pub after dancing with Dartington Morris. You always get a warm welcome and if you like real ales then this is ale heaven. What is particularly appreciated is the production of a lower abv beer at 3.8%, a delicious session beer. There is a spacious beer garden at the rear.
Gorgeous proper old school pub doing all the things I want a pub to do
Great pub, friendly bar staff, lovely local beer selection, hopefully will return to hear jazz band, advertised, in the summer.
