Welcome to the official Ye Olde Cider Bar page! Whilst the bar is currently not open due to the Coronavirus crisis, the Jug & Bottle is open 12-2 and 5-7 Tuesday to Saturday, 12-2 Sunday, closed all day monday.
Ye Olde Cider Bar in Newton Abbot is believed to be one of only four remaining cider houses in the UK. With a wide selection of local ciders, the Cider Bar is a must for anyone with a passion for cider and the desire to experience an establishment that has changed little over the generations, ensuring its Devon charm has been preserved.
With new management having the drive to put the establishment at the heart of Newton Abbot's community of pubs, the bar will be hosting traditional West Country talent and a range of events throughout the year.
The bar also offers a selection of country fruit wines and a few selected spirits.
With some very vocal regulars always happy to offer advice on what to drink, you'll be welcomed into the Devon cider family and guided through our traditional local products.
