Excellent lunch from the fixed price menu. . Food was beautifully cooked and presented. The apple and plum crumble was a triumph. Our waiter was very attentive, not intrusive. Very much appreciated the added bonus of home made fudge/ chocolate at the end of the meal.
Absolutely stunning food and service. Took my mum here for her birthday dinner and ate off the main menu. It’s certainly not a cheap evening but the quality of the food is really worth it and the market menu gives you amazing value. Cannot fault The Bay Horse in any way.
wonderful place with top-notch food beautifully presented. only complaint is that the Ploughman's lunch was a big assortment of meats with one small piece of cheese, when usually a Ploughman's is the other way round. so one should be warned about that. otherwise great. p.s. recommend the Petivier!
Visited as a family of 6 for Sunday Lunch. It was a last minute booking and we were recommended to eat here. The stay were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. The food was delicious and although we are not local we will not hesitate to visit again when we are in the area.
Food was very good, really enjoyed it, and two courses were enough from the main menu. the staff could be more friendly, but may have been busy - didn't have to wait long for meal. Will definitely be back.
Amazing as always!!!!!! Absolutely love the food here. Delicious as always, also had a very tasty bottle of prosecco. I also have to add - I fell completely my own fault coming into the pub. The staff were lovely and brought me ice for my ankle! Thank you for looking after me.
Since I last came the menu has greatly improved and now seems both refined and complete with many dishes I would have loved to explore. The bread that came before the meal was baked in house and was especially tasty. I ordered off the market menu which gives £30 for three courses. Despite me ordering it for the contents, the price is fantastic! Every dish was great and it came with vegetables for the table. Service was great and it's a lovely place to dine at. Will definitely visit again.
Honestly one of the best meals I have eaten. I'm a big foody and travel alot in London for work, often eating out and this is hands down one of the best meals I have eaten. The sticky beef was exceptional, truly falling apart with a stunning amount of flavour. The pressed Belly Pork was also brilliant, with a lovely salty but not over powering taste and a delicately thin layer of crackled belly fat. We didn't intend on eating dessert but after the triumph that was our main we just had to and we were not disappointed!
Great service from start to finish. Chose the amazing value 3 course set meal myself and my friend chose from the lunch menu. Food was so tasty, inventive. Couple of things I wasn't overly impressed with in my 3 courses but overall very impressed.
Had a pleasant lunch here. Very well presented. Good service. Tasty. Still needed tea later though.
