Absolutely delicious breakfast. Loads of the stuff, could have 1 all day breakfast to share between 2. Great friendly staff.

We've had some good reviews lately about the food, so thought we'd go for lunch. As we would need a veggie meal, we checked the online menu, which had nothing on. I rang the pub to be told they don't do vegetarian or vegan food, which is most surprising, especially in this day & age.

Great value food at a lovely pet friendly pub. Lovely steak and sticky toffee pudding for £10. Charmaige was a lovely host.

Always spot on. Good meals, perfect poached eggs if you go for breakfast, good beer. Dog friendly too.

Went for lunch today the staff were very friendly and efficient and they never stopped , social distancing was in place but the atmosphere was very relaxed the food was amazing fresh and we'll presented and tasted beautiful will definitely be back well done to all the staff first rate service.

This evening, friends and l came to the pennyweight for our tea, the service we received from Chemaine Wood the moment we walked into the pub was first class!! She has been outstanding!! Working like a Trojan, all alone. Thank you for making us feel welcome.

One of the best places In Darlington for amaizng foo. I would suggest everyone trying this place you truly won't regret it.

Very helpful staff as we needed seating for 6 people. Lovely pint of John Smith bitter too.
