BCPS is a centre of excellence for the provision of rehab services for adults, young adults and children with chronic pain and pain associated disability.
The BCPS treatment model enables people to reduce their disability and increase function, lead a more values led lifestyle and improve mood.BCPS has been delivering rehab services for 18 years and we continue to work to improve the interventions we offer through reflective clinical practice and our research programme.
All our treatments promote a self-management approach which aims to reduce the need for local services on discharge from BCPS, reduce local long-term care costs, enable people to utilise the services they do require more effectively and have more realistic expectations of services.
The unit has a national and an international reputation for its clinical services, research and education programmes.
