My 7 year old has been doing gymnastics at the St Mark’s School since Reception and absolutely loves it. The coaches are so positive and encouraging and they do lots of skills and try out different apparatus. Definitely recommend it as an after school activity.
Baskervilles is a great company, coming from a perspective of a customer and staff member. I originally started at Baskervilles as a customer taking part in adult gymnastic classes - These are great fun and have allowed me to progress and build so much confidence thanks to the staff and the facilities they offer. I even got my mum to join me who now loves the adult gymnastic sessions as much as me! The adult gymnastic sessions had such a positive atmosphere that I decided it was a place I would love to work at and I am now a staff member myself, coaching both gymnastics and cheerleading. On top of this, Baskervilles have also allowed my university cheer team Bath Spa Rapids to train in their facility weekly. This has allowed many students to try new things and stay fit and healthy. This has also helped many students who have struggled with moving away from their home and family to become part of a second family - It has had such a positive affect within the university and our members love training at Baskervilles. Baskervilles is a fantastic club with friendly, highly qualified coaches and a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend them as a place to work, to hire or to attend as a customer.
I absolutely love working at Baskervilles as part of such a positive, caring and dedicated team of coaches. We plan exciting and progressive sessions to suit the age, level and ability of our gymnasts. It's the best job in the world to see so many children gain confidence, learn new skills and make friends for life.
As a family we have been going Baskervilles since my children were 2. They first went to the pre school classes, run by the fabulous Pre School Coaching team and have now moved onto older classes for school aged children and my daughter attends twice weekly in their girls beginner squad. I asked my children what they would say about Baskervilles and they said 'they have nice coaches' and 'I like that they have so many things to go on'. I would add that they have created a wonderful family friendly environment. The coaching and admin teams work are all very helpful and make the children and parents feel very welcome. I also go to their adult gymnastics classes which are run by members of their senior coaching team in the evenings and lunchtimes. These popular classes are for all gymnastic abilities from beginner and you work at your own pace to achieve to your goals. I couldn't recommend Baskervilles more, for the whole family!
I started gymnastics at Baskervilles at the age of 4, where I advanced through the squad. Whilst still training I progressed through Baskerville’s coaching scheme from the age of 11. Since leaving school I have progressed through the British Gymnastics apprenticeship scheme, and currently work full-time as a qualified Level-3 Women’s Artistic Coach at Baskervilles. Baskervilles has supported me through everything and has always been a friendly environment for me. Baskervilles has made me love the sport of gymnastics and provided me to gain life time memories and friends.
