My husband enjoyed his prawn starter and lemon sole. My whitebait was ok but my salmon was a bit dry and the sauce was sherry and ginger but couldn't taste either really. I know it's Xmas party season but it did all feel a bit rushed. We'd had our drinks starter and main within an hour and that's with asking to leave the mains for 5 mins ish.
Fabulous food and great service. Whether you want steak, pizza, pasta or any of the other great dishes served here, you won't be disappointed. All the staff sing happy birthday to anyone lucky enough to find themselves celebrating there. Booking in advance is recommended as they are always very busy.
This is a brilliant place to head to if you are either visiting the area, like me, or live local. We reserved a table for pre show meal Bournemouth Little Theatre well worth the visit too at 5.30pm, a bit early for me really but the only way to get a meal at leisure before a show, and they were ready for us. In fact i think they may be open all day which is amazing, I don't know many places of this size that serve from breakfast to dinner. Anyway the service was great and friendly, very good at advising us. I had squid to start which was tasty but a tiny bit over cooked so a little chewy, but I enjoyed it. I then had the four cheese pizza with chili oil and it was so good, massive but as so tasty I ate the whole lot! Too full for pud but they did all the usual ones, my partner had ice cream which he said was very good. Coffee was of a very good standard and was tasty. Nice wine, plenty of table water so all in all a quality meal. Vegetarian options: Good selection of veggie meals, which is nice to see Parking: No parking close by, I don't live in the area so I can't recommend a place to park either. It is on a main road and I think you can park on that if you can find a spot.
What a find on a random Tuesday lunchtime. The food was absolutely divine The best lasagne I have ever had, my parner had the blue cheese mussles, unbelievabley good! The service was excellent, too.Food: 5/5
My partner and I, loved our experience at Ristorante Barolo on Sunday evening. The food was delicious and obviously fresh. Everything on the menu was brilliantly labelled with any allergies highlighted clearly. The service was wonderful, everyone very kind and friendly. Would definitely recommend ! Parking: Small car park for customers behind the restaurant.
Very authentic Italian food, excellent customer service, let down by constant birthday greetings played out in restaurant which is very dated and customers lack of effort in dressing for the occasion. Just be nice to see customers take theirs coats off! Appreciate fully staff can't make them.Food: 5/5
I LOVE it here and everyone should go at least once. The food is amazing, they give you Breadsticks free, the front of house manager is so kind and happy, the bar lady was super sweet. We went this time for my nans wake and they were so so kind to us. Thank you, guys.Food: 5/5
Food and service good, unfortunately it was so loud with lots of large groups in and music too loud in restaurant.....not a romantic setting for a couples night ! Sorry
My grown up nieces and I had a birthday celebration here tonight. The food was so good, really generous and very delicious. The staff were the best, very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back, it was a lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere
Great pizza, friendly and welcoming staff. Loved the atmosphere, the staff came to sing happy birthday to two tables while we were there.
