We popped into Pizza Express Bournemouth after a shopping trip, fortunately a table was available without booking. Had an enjoyable meal and great decor where we were too, a lot of effort to recreate a local bus destination blind. Good service and tasty food as you would expect from Pizza Express. Will go back there, maybe making sure we book ahead next time!
Fantastic vegan and vegetarian menu. Great to see a solid choice of options and not just a remove cheese option. Cocktails looked nice and were prepared quickly. I tried a gran reserva which I haven't had before. The server was also brilliant and gave us their recommendations on the menu. Nice touch. It was really quiet when I visited, great to see the pizzas going into the oven and had an active vibe from the kitchen. Served a watermarked glass which looked dirty. Video added. The BBQ burnt ends pizza was not great, I'd have enjoyed a margarita more. On the up size, service was good. You can use Tesco points to triple up your spending power too. I'd probably not want to come if I had to pay the standard price. Although the restaurant was empty, it took 40min for our food to get to us. Tables were not being cleared. The staff were nice but they seemed new and so a few mistakes were made with the order. Overall I think you are better going to the Poole tower park pizza express as they have much better service.
Lovely service from our waiter on quite a quiet Monday evening. I like the sparkly new gold menu, although do miss the Veneziana pizza : Two pizzas, a side salad and two cokes came to £45 with service. Aren't things getting more expensive these days etc etcFood: 5/5
First time I ve been there eating, Nice place, good atmosphere, the service and the food were both excellent, We have been properly look after on some special requests, as one of my friends has some "food restriction" and everything went smooth, special thank you to Damian for accommodate our request and all the staff. Great experience I ll defo be back
I would definitely tell my friends and family to go to this pizza express and I will definitely be going again soon! I’m allergic to gluten and they really took that seriously but I still had the best experience! I felt I could still go out and enjoy myself and my food without being treated differently as I’m allergic to gluten and also the food was just as nice as a normal pizza! Which is very rare! All in all I’m 100% going to be coming back and it really praise the whole team at the odeon BH2 Bournemouth for their attentiveness to my allergy and friendliness xxx Vegetarian options: My friend is vegan and she had vegan dough balls and a vegan pizza which looked lovely Kid-friendliness: There was a kids party going on whilst we were there so clearly accommodating Parking: There is parking beneath the BH2 bournemouth Wheelchair accessibility: There are lifts from the car park and flat level all around Dietary restrictions: I have an allergy to gluten and they were specifically accommodating to my allergy, food was lovely even though it was gluten free which is hard to find will definitely come back.
While the restaurant was fairly empty, service was extremely slow. As we arrived the table next to us hadn’t been cleared and as we left it still hadn’t been, with other tables being left during our meal. The table next to us had to send food back as it was cold. Our food, while decent, was also cold but after a 45 minute wait we decided to just eat it. My starter was substituted for a different starter without being told until it had arrived on my table and my server just said “here’s your starter” and left without further clarification which was frustrating as I have specific intolerances so was unsure if I could eat the substituted starter. The servers pretty much ignored the tables only going over when to deliver food and take orders after waiting for as long as possible. Overall I did not enjoy my time at this particular pizza express.
Really lovely food. Great selection for vegan options. I'm lactose intolerant and there were many options. You can also add toppings of meat if you are omnivorous. Clean and tidy with good service.Food: 5/5
We went for my daughters birthday with high expectations as we had been to the one in windsor and it had been excellent. I had to go and find my server after 25 minutes. We then ordered starters of dough balls and garlic bread. Almost an hour later and several chasers we got our starters. We then waited a further 40 mins for normal pizzas. Service wasn't very good, kitchen was ridiculously slow and the manager didn't care. Won't be going again.
