Arrived in Barnstable and made our way to TI to find dog friendly places. Dogs not allowed in TI the rather unfriendly lady in there told us out of town places may be dog friendly. She was trying to get rid of us before we saw any of Barnstable. Strangely enough the pub opposite the TI The Golden Lion was very dog friendly. Time the TI got itself into the 21st century.

Absolutely rubbish. We asked if they were dog friendly....no! Do they know anywhere to eat that is dog friendly? No! Were told they didn't know who to ask!! Ermmm you're the tourist information, shouldn't you know. Opposite the TI is a pub TheGolden Lion ..... Sign out side clearly says ... Dog friendly. Shame tourist information lady wasn't.

Amazing friendly welcoming staff 
So lucky to have found these kind helpful people as our first people we met on our exciting fun week here at Easter. Lots of help for places to visit and how to find them
