We dined here last week and enjoyed lovely, freshly prepared Polish inspired cuisine. Service and ambience were excellent. We would recommend The Blue Barbakan to anyone seeking food that is a bit different - it is a unique culinary experience and stands out in a city that does have a variety of high quality restaurants.

Fantastic food & the staff are amazing; very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, tasty and very traditional! Took me back to being in Poland The setting is really homely and cosy and I cannot wait to go again!!!
We went there midweek and the place was full. Great service, great atmosphere and amazing food. We had Bigos and veal medallion. High quality, perfectly cooked, flavoursome food. I wish we lived in York just to go there often and be certain to always have a great meal.
