Was really looking forward to eating here because of all the wonderful reviews. Whilst it was excellent and we'd definitely go back, it wasn't as we expected. First of two visits was a Sunday, they heard on Facebook we were coming and wished us well. According to all published timetables the Sunday buffet goes on until 8pm. We arrived at 6:50pm and it had all been cleared away. No warning. Don't worry they said, just tell us what you want and we'll bring it to you and charge you the buffet price. They did what they said and it was very reasonable. They have wine but advertise that you can BYO and they only charged us £3 or possibly £2.50 corkage. The menu is astonishing. I've never seen anything like it. 100 different Balti dishes, maybe more. Well set out and very inviting. We ordered a chicken Balti, a Jalfrezi , and a vegetable dish plus a nan and some poppadoms. The rice came coloured very darkly. There were no hot plates. The accompaniments to the poppadoms were not up to scratch we thought, and the portions were quite small. Lucky we ordered so much. The Balti and Jalfrezi were very good. But the cutlery and crockery were second hand. The biggest surprise was the naan bread. Flat triangles, uniform. Not the big bubbly soft, semi almost burnt naans that we were used to. We also ordered onion badgies. They were another surprise. Again, flat, looked like potato cakes to me. Not the straw like bundles of crispy baggies we were used to. The first (buffet) night we thought it must be "special" catering pack food they serve because it's so cheap and things like badgies and nan are cooked fresh in good restaurants but no. On the second night, "A La Carte" night, they were exactly the same. The rice was more recognisable though. Biggest surprise though was the size of portions as already mentioned. Not cheap either I remember. Glad we brought another bottle ourselves. Definitely go back but it wasn't the special place I was expecting it to be.

Really attentive and friendly service. Delicious food, quality accompaniments and nice atmosphere. The price was very reasonable and will definitely return again.

Food is always amazing! I've eaten in and had take out too! Staff are very friendly and attentive!
