Ballyleese Town and Country Park is such a quiet, peaceful place to visit. It's so well run, tidy and clean with a friendly atmosphere. The children have good natural fun meeting up with old and new friends. It's a safe environment for skateboards, scooters, bicycles etc and occasionally the children can participate on rainy days or dry days in a bit of rock painting or face painting etc
We stayed for one night here and unfortunately I didn’t think it was outstanding as previously rated. The bathrooms are dated and although they do the job, there’s no heating or dry area to step onto after having a shower. The floors needed a good clean. The camp ground for campers/caravans is an open paddock with a circular layout. There is no privacy and could do with some hedging or partitions. All sites had power and outlets for grey and chemical toilet which was a bonus. Wifi is extra and you need to sign up to a plan so we didn’t use it. The playground has a slide, swings and two rockers with soft play surface which was fine for the kids. I couldn’t find the door for the playroom it wasn’t sign posted. I did meet one of the owners and she was very friendly and attentive when my shower flooded with a blocked drain. I think it’s only fair to rate this park as OK 3/5 based on all of the other parks I have stayed in. It wasn’t outstanding From my experience.
Superb caravan park owned by Terry and Stevie O'NEILL a definite 5 star park , the owners are very attentive and day or night if you have a problem it's sorted in minutes A truly 5 star holiday park .
Highly recommended! Stayed here during our Northern Ireland tenting road-trip. Warmly received by Stevie to stay at their pristine caravan/townhouse/camping park. Can’t beat the view overlooking the rolling hills dotted with sheep. Just a stones throw away from Portsteward 7 min drive, ~30min walk. Quiet at night. Functional and clean facilities. Kindly provided us with a book guide and tips for the area. Would definitely stay here again, thanks for the hospitality!
Great caravan site. Many static caravans but with touring pitches available. Toilets & washing facilities available & spotless. Self service laundry room available. Small play park for kids. Dog friendly, but must be on leads & cleaned up after. Peaceful rural situation, stunning sunsets weather permitting. Out of town & a rural setting. Bridal path walk close by. Tesco shop, garage, good chip shop & off licence are all within 5 minutes drive. Portstewart strand no more than 10 minutes drive away, 20-30 min walk. Very well run & maintained site. Owner & staff are all very friendly.
Really lovely quiet peaceful well kept caravan park. Perfect location on edge of Portstewart. Good games room with snooker and table tennis tables. Clean toilets. Owner never stops tidying mopping weeding etc! No extra charge for shower or hairdryer. Excellent park.
Emailed on the off chance to get a space for the 2017 Portrush Airwaves Airshow told by Stevie to come on ahead site 15 has been provisionally booked and to pay on arrival prices very favorable. As to the site very well laid out all pitches have EHU water tap and grey disposal. Toilets and shower room clean and tidy, chemical dump beside toilets. Would definitely recommend this site will return in the future.
first class touring facility for the north coast.... excellent pitches each with their own water, grey water waste, chemical toilet waste and 15 amp electric.
Beautiful caravan site very clean and friendly will 100% be back husband and me had fantastic 4 nights
