I was camping with my family for a weekend. The tent field was very good. Good size tent pitch, with great facilities. Electric nearby, water tap and I thought the cleanliness of the dish washing area, toilet & shower block was excellent. I would really recommend Carrick Dhu.
One of the best sites we have had the pleasure to stay in, close to town centre and a great base to go exploring from, personally I think it should be 5*
Great awning pitches on AstroTurf which is very tidy. Toilets immaculate. Friendly helpful staff. Great locationService: 5/5
Stayed here camping and have to say the best facilities about. The pitches had water and bins close by , electric hook up and the staff were so helpful.the grounds themselves were very well sized and with the wall around the site you are sheltered from the elements. Very close to the beach and with a small access path it's even better...just watch with kids as crossing the road to get to the beach can be very busy . Definitely recommend

Love it here thou they need to concrete the touring pitches your a 20 min walk to town views of sea are amazing sunsets beautiful not far from Portstewart Strand Beach it's lovely watching the surfers as well on West Strand at Portrush &East Strand as well Portrush has amazing beaches worth a visit
A nice campsite, well maintained, amenities were grand, the toilets were acceptable but with definite room for improvement. When asking the kids would they go back they said it was too noisy, we had 2 nosey nights but still wouldn’t rule out ever going back, definitely stayed in worse. Oh and the disk washing facilities were indoors with no flies and great sized worktops to put your stuff on.
Water and electric on tap. Thee only thing I would give it a thumbs down for is 50p for a shower seems tight. And no chimnea policy is a buzz kill. Fire Ex, AED, wash rooms all good.
Stayed at the temporary overnight park for motor homes....much needed facility and long overdue. ...well done Portrush council. Hopefully sets a standard for other local council's to follow.
