Not the best for camping. Over priced for just a field in the middle of static caravans. The toilet block is with the caravans and you have to pay for the showers. Kids game room nothing works. . £50 a night.
Stayed 2 nights in a camper. Site was small but clean. The area has a good playground, zipline was broken, a small games room which is dirty and mostly arcade games, a small shop with a bit of basic stock as well as fishing rods and body boards. Toilets were clean but womens showers were old and you need to pay 40p for 4 mins then 20p for every 5 mins after up to £1. This is fine except the machine only accepts 20p and £1 coins, i was all ready to go but only had a 50p coin and couldnt use it, walked to the shop and asked for change and was told gruffly by an older man "no we dont give change" so ended up not being able to use the shower that day. The reception closes at 7pm so if you are arriving later call ahead. also the barrier for campers/caravans has to be opened by staff, it has a keypad and we were given a code on arrival but when it didnt work the woman told us oh no it only works for the car lane. So every time we left or came back we had to be let in. Also because we were coming back after 7pm one evening we had to let them know and we were told to phone so someone could let us in which is an inconvenience for them and us so this would be worth fixing. Over all a good spot close to giants causeway for a drive and do check out Dunluce castle up the road. Portrush also had a good carnival/amusement park going too.
A very clean, well kept and well maintained site. The staff in the office go out of their way to assist in anyway they can. The chippy has a good range of food at a fair price. The only improvement that could be made in my opinion would be to the shop.
I camped here for a full week during the NW200 , the site is spotlessly clean and well maintained, the toilets/showers were immaculate great hot showers I have to say a massive thank you to the girls in the office who were very helpful thru out my stay, great place to stay if up the North Coast
The place was grand and the late night security guard was very helpful. The chipper was tasty enough and there’s a play park or amusements for the kids. The wash facilities were nice and clean, the toilets however weren’t great and the tents were near the football pitches, and exposed to the wind so had lots of noise up til the 11:00 curfew and sometimes after...
Just spent 4 nights at the Skerries Caravan Park. The facilities are great. Very well located toilet/shower and laundry facilities all very clean, modern, and reasonably priced. A great play park for children full of fun things to do. Great games room, well stocked shop, and on-site chippy. The security gate system is excellent and made me feel secure. Also very dog friendly. A short walk into Portrush. A very nice stay and looking forward to going back soon.
I go there chippy is awesome and the park is so fun There is so much stuff to do I recommend that you go here 10/10
Great place to stay, very clean with plenty to do for the kids. The food in the chipper is great and the lady that works there is very friendly. Its a great base if your touring around the area.
Fabulous caravan park. Great facilities, shower and toilet block immaculate. Good value supermarket. Great park for kids. Easy access to the entire North Coast for visitors outside the Borough. Lots to do and see in the area and outstanding coastal scenery.
Very clean facilities and good game room, shop and chippie. The park was amazing for kids and there's a great selection of food in the shop, from meat to ice cream! Very quiet site for campers, as they are mostly moter homes there. All in all very clean, quiet and enjoyable. Would recommend!
