Terrible place to stay money money money is all there after. Bens a bellend that needs to redo his customer service skills. And that cleaning lady needs sacked head cleaner D**khead. My kids where out playing and she told them to clear away off from round the caravan. They drive round in there cars watching u. Very unprofessional in every aspect dirty site Also rubbish every where dirty cats running about coming in and out of ur caravan when they please couldn’t even leave my window open. Also mice and rats running about the bin area. Owner didn’t care when this was brought to his attention again as I said money money money is all there after. Do urself a favour and book some where else as u won’t enjoy ur stay here and either will ur family ……
Me and and my family have a caravan here. Overall a good experience. The only thing is that there was no WiFi at our caravan even though you walk outside and get it, it just didn't reach our caravan, other than that, a great park.
We stayed in the hire vans and it was great. Loads to do for children and a 15 minute walk into portrush centre, would recommend highly
Under the equality act 2010 it is illegal to discriminate someone because of their age, so was surprised when a friend of mine was refused entry after paying a deposit because they were under 25. Discrace. Under their unlawful terms and conditions they state that they can refuse someone without refund because they are under 25?are they serious. Definete case for age discrimination.
So I booked for a long weekend away camping for me and the family. Site itself has a lot of large potholes and stones so pegging a tent is hard and be warned if you have a low car as it will get stuck.there is no option of electric hook up and if you have young kids there is no access to the play plark other than them walking up the main road.we found this out after booking the kids in for extra entertainment package and there was no actual way for them to access it through the site. So basically you are paying the the highest price for camping on the north coast for a very rough field with very little amenities, for example staying in carrick dhu, juniper hill, Killarney Ireland etc with electric on a better pitch is cheaper On the day I checked out I handed in the pass and was told the money would be released right away. Now over a week later not a penny back, contacted them and the reply was now we hold onto it for a couple of weeks?? Why? Get more interest maybe? Why do they even need £50 ...I'm using my own tent .... Tbh this will be my last stay especially considering this is the most expensive campsite on the north coast with no electric hook up. * Now over 8 months later they insist I got my deposit back but the bank still can show I received nothing. Joke!
Fantastic luxury caravan with jacuzzi! Will definitely visit again!!!
Large holiday park, stayed there for 30 years and my family have bought 2 permanent caravans there. Large play park at the center with a snack shop open in summer providing activities for kids and teens. There's a café at the entrance that serves through the day. Also temporary staying for portable caravans and camping, but I've never had to use it. Little far from town center but close to a spar and decent distance to the beach. One thing is that they have nightly patrols around the center of the park that sends young people back to their caravans when it's late. This only happened recently so I'm not sure if it's temporary or permanent. You can interpret this as a way to keep your kids safe at night or a way to dampen your child's fun.
Stayed 2 nights in a tent. Advertised as a family site with a strict noise curfew of 11pm-8am. First night the noise from a couple of party tents went on until 12:45am with kids running about screaming and shouting, one of dads thinking it was okay to chase them all round the tents and music blasting. Second night wasn't as bad but went on until 11:45pm. No enforcement of their rules at all. Worst camping experience I've had on a family site in 20 years. Showers etc clean and the park is good for kids but I wouldn't come back due to the noise.
Went here a few years ago. The staff were lovely, showed us how to work appliances. The caravan was absolutely beautiful. Loved every minute here, and would definitely recommend.
