Story

The Baker Arms extends a friendly welcome to guests old and new.

Homely 5 bedroom hotel, consisting of 3 double rooms and 2 twin rooms. Set in the quintessentially English countryside close to the busy town of Hertford. Nestled in a peaceful, beautiful village, this row of former Railway cottages has been lovingly restored with well appointed rooms.

Our bar and restaurant offers wide range of home cooked pub favourites complimented by a daily specials list offering some more gourmet choices including world foods homemade by our chefs.

Dinner is served Mon-Fri: 12noon-3pm & 6pm-9pm
Saturday: 12noon-9pm
Sunday: 12noon-6pm

All our ales are brewed at the McMullen's Brewery, a traditional English brewery operating out of the neighbouring town of Hertford since 1827.

All rooms include an en-suite with a bath & shower, tea & coffee making facilities and a full English Breakfast is included in the price.

Relaxing and colourful gardens, including a separate children's play area.

Just a five minute walk from the train station with excellent links to Hertford and London. And good bus connections to local attractions and towns.A warm welcome awaits you at the Baker Arms.
