Baan Thitya Thai Cuisine provides the very best of authentic Thai cuisine in a contemporary Thai setting. Complementing our food, the atmosphere and service are outstanding and there is an excellent wine list devised by Martin Lam of Ransome's Dock in Battersea. Martin was the winner of the Moet & Chandon Most Exceptional London Wine List award 2000.

The proprietors, Thitiya Sookphanich and Jureerat Musigapong, are both natives of Bankok with long experience of running successful restaurants in the UK.

Great food, excellent service from very helpful and obliging staff who went out of their way to make sure my first visit was memorable and it certainly won't be the last. Great value and quality. Highly recommended.

Lovely place, friendly and amazingly attentive staff. We were there with an elderly relative and they were incredibly helpful, patient and friendly the entire time. Food was good, freshly prepared and tasty. Drinks were on the expensive side (none of us had alcohol and the cost of four teas and one fruit juice was nearly 1/3 of the bill). Overall, would recommend this place for the smiling staff, the speed and efficiency of the service and the general cleanliness and neatness of the entire restaurant. Worth a visit.

The service was ok. The young waiter was polite.The manager was quite unwelcoming and obviously didn't want to take my order, possibly because I was wearing work clothes. I ordered squid as a starter and asked for my Boombai lamb curry to be spicy, like you might get in Thailand, but maybe the young guy thought I asked for more salt, not more chili, as the curry was just very salty and mild. Not like anything you'd get in Thailand at all. The squid was a bit soft and pretty chewy. Otherwise it didn't really have anything to distinguish itself from something soggy and write tasteless that you might get from anywhere with a deep fat fryer and a relatively unskilled cook. I don't normally write reviews, but the length of time between having been brought the bill and being brought the card machine is such that I've ample time to write this and still be twiddling my thumbs wondering what is going on.

Food came very quickly, staff a little too attentive. Had to go downstairs to pay, which felt uncomfortable
