I loved it here! went with some of my queer friends and we all had a great time! All of the staff were so bloody welcoming, from security, to the ticket guy. Bar service was really quick even though they were busy & they played an amazing range of R&B music! The DJ was so nice & shoutout to Hannah at the bar, she was truly the sweetest! Can’t wait to be back

A man threatened me physically and security guards, once directed to him, laughed and chatted with him instead of taking it seriously. Went there for years but will not go after this again.  Took two attempts with security after the first patted his back. Still allowed in despite threatening women. Mentioned a refund of ticket and that's when it was taken more seriously. Door man took it seriously and bar staff were supportive but security did not help.  did not feel safe to stay.

I went there for few drinks. I was thinking between few drinks at the counter. I ordered Carlsberg and the girl who served me thought I want both drinks Heineken and Draft beer. She poured both and charged me for both. I said I don’t want Heineken but she was so rude that I paid for both but leaving away the Heineken. The girl with round face and pink hair is just rude and don’t know how to work at the bar.  Bad service; 2 stars for good vibe and venue

Disappointed! I was there last Friday. First of all everyone on the bar was so slow that I had to wait 45 minutes to be served but then when it was my time she decided to serve one girl behind me and she shouted at me when i asked why. I left the place after that. Girl on the bar was incredibly rude and I really do not understand how the owner of the place let somebody like her work there. Terrible experience, i will never visit again and will not let any of my friends visit there either.

Not a place for women-unsafe ,I have been harassed there, grabbed up and verbally abused. I see that the comments on here are mostly from women describing a unfortunately similar situation and nothing is done. Apparently it happens alot especially by the same man when I spoke to the staff. So why let him in? Yet we have to show our ID'S.  We used to love this place, amazing and fun but sadly the recent times we have visited have been hoping just random insidents have been repeated.  I have to say the manager was really good and understanding which was a positive.  Hopefully something will be done...

Was absolutely appalled by the security. I was laughing with my friend when coming down the stairs giving each other a bit of banter and security thought we were arguing. We were both laughing at the time and we both got kicked out. Security guy didn’t ask if everything was alright just kicked us out immediately. Owner was there at the time and I told him what happened and he said “that can’t be it, there must have been more”. Very poor

I would used to have said that Bacchus is the best late night bar/club in Kingston but times have changed and sadly so have staff members. The new bar staff are extremely rude, one example of this was when I ordered a shot, the member of staff knocked it over, blamed the incident on me all whilst refusing to replace it, and ended up charging me for it. The new wave of bouncers are very aggressive and unprofessional, speaking to guests in a disgusting manor involving a lot of swearing, and throwing their weight around at people as opposed to protecting and diffusing a situation.

Racist bar, saw some people get thrown out without a reasonable answer. The staff are rude and the bartenders are unbelievably disrespectful & not taking it seriously

Fun music, young crowd, idiotic bouncers, hot chicks… fun bar with the right crowd

Small but mighty, great atmosphere, friendly staff, good people
