When we went in it was really big and you have the option to have a look around before buying any coins which is nice as you can see if it is for you. Honestly, I only really enjoyed a handful of the games in this arcade as most were crane games and games to win more coins. The big rides were not working when we came and I was struggling to top up my card as none of the machines would accept my cards kept showing error until a lady there helped me by topping it up on the gift shop machine. The best games were axe throwing and Mario kart. The Mario kart game was the cheapest from what I have seen and was so much fun. We took turns going on the kart machines!
What a fun day out for the kids and what more could they want. Rollercoaster and other fun rides, lots of games to play, great music and fab atmosphere, soft play and a cafe. Staff was lovely and friendly and prices are good. My only moan small was that the VR Headsets wasn’t working and kids was disappointed about not being able to experience them but would definitely return.
I held my space themed launch for my book Time to play :In space! here yesterday and it was the perfect location, decoration was not required and the room was ready to go and an amazing backdrop for my theme. The management are fantastic and so welcoming, and we all adored Jason! What a fantastic host, he went above and beyond for us, can't thank him enough, would definitely recommend Babylon Park!
We visited on a Friday expecting there to be a bit of a vibe but was really empty... so, thinking that was a good thing as it meant we could get on the rides without queuing but we were wrong. We were waiting around A LOT for ride operators to appear, one seemed a bit grumpy while others wished us a nice day. Staff greetings were inconsistent, even on arrival the girl was a bit short in her responses. Didn't even smile. Everything is slightly overpriced, eg. £3 for a Mr whippy ice-cream in a tub that we waited 10 minutes for because the gelato was "not serve-able". Rides were about £4 per person, games almost £2 and the whole virtual vs game coin thing on the reloadable cards is terribly confusing. There is a soft play for babies and kids which look pretty fun but that is 80 coins..... You also do NOT get refunds from money loaded on cards. Not a place I'd hurry back to.
Took my two daughters, 5 and 7, and they had a great time. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The token system, whilst a little confusing at first, is not rocket science and it’s convenient being cashless note food and drink is purchasable with cash or card. The rollercoaster was great fun and the girls loved the soft-play. Seeing as you don’t have to pay to get in, I felt it was reasonably priced as you can pick and choose what you actually want to spend money on. I went for the £50 tokens package and it got us on everything we wanted to go on rides and games, which for three people, I thought wasn’t bad. Would recommend. PS attached is the big ride token prices at the time of this review
Great little fun spot, reminiscent of the old Sega Park. Great range of modern games all centred around granting tickets to claim prizes at the end of your visit. The idea of the app being where you get your game credits is fun, novel and has a lot of potential but wasn't always reliable. Clearly a lot of money has been spent to get this all working and I hope they continue to build on it. Generally aimed towards a slightly younger audience with the rides and game types, but equally enjoyed for a while by adults too. Everything was brand new and shiny and while the staff there were friendly and wanted to help they didn't always know how stuff worked.
Great space, though designed for kids. Would be better if can also have more games/arcades for adults. Several of the games were out of order. App kept freezing and needed refreshing every other game. A little hard to follow the two different types of coins and weird pricing 12.8 ? Generally a nice concept.
Babylon park is fine indoor place for kids and even adults . But it is mostly for kids. You have to buy a card or use the app at the time you get in . Card is 1 pound and you have to charge it at least i think 15 pounds . You can play with it 2 or 3 good one .
We attended during summer holidays as a family of 2 adults, 3yr & 9-11yr old, kids were very excited and couldn't wait to get on the games, a somewhat over whelming feeling myself as these places are my worst nightmare, but needs must during entertaining kids in the summer. We was greeted by the most energised member of staff, guiding us to the next level, with no pressure to purchase a card & nothing was to much trouble, which relaxed myself. The next level was suited for younger children with a softplay area. It took us some time to workout the card system and what was the best option for vaule, with no help from a second member of staff who was polar opposite to our first one. The card system is not clear & how much games/rides cost in real money .. I feel this is important as you feel somewhat ripped off, if the concept is not clear. I purchased a £25 card which did last 2 kids at least 2hours I would recommend purchasing two separate cards so they could do their own thing. The bottom level is full of games some of which you can win tokens on, but this is not clear. The staff on this level were not very helpful & an attitude of face bothered which doesn't Bode well when your entering a roller coaster ride with a 3 yr old, & when asking a question you get stared at as if to say how dare you ask questions. The second time on the rollercoaster was for the older kids & face not bothered staff member processed to drop the card down into the abyss of mechanics of the machine, with no explanation we was lefted standing there as she walked off. After sometime & waiting for another member of staff to explain what happened we was then rewarded with a new card & points remaining with few extra added for inconvenience. Overall the kids had a great time & request for a revisit is on the cards, in the hope of a better understanding of the cost. @babylonparkcamden please do look into training staff efficiently to ensure they are welcoming & have knowledge on the card system vaule & rides. Also the app did not work & was unworkable inside the babylon park area.
Easily the best place in the UK to play Pump It Up. Two XX machines online with pads in good condition. Very helpful staff. Overall nice and spacious arcade, much needed in London and worth the price for the quality.
