My wife and I popped in here on a rainy Saturday morning to check out the brunch menu. From the moment you arrive, the vibe of Korto will leave you feeling relaxed. The cozy décor and friendly staff were extremely accomodating to our needs having a pram and a 3-month old requires a bit of extra space. Tee, one of the team at front of house, was fantastic, ensuring that we had everything we needed for our meals and drinks. And let's talk about the food: just marvellous. We both had the Korto breakfast and every item was well cooked and seasoned. The coffee was excellent so much so, that we ordered another each to take away. Before we knew it, the quiet surrounds became quite busy, as locals dropped in to fuel up. In spite of the fact that Tee seemed to be the only one delivering meals and drinks to tables, there was no wait for us, and everything arrived in good time. Impeccable and friendly service every step of the way. I'd highly recommend Korto, especially if you are in the Muswell Hill area. It's a quick walk from the Broadway, and the service and quality will leave you wanting to book in repeat visits.
We stumbled upon this gem on a Sunday walk between Capitol Gardens and Sunshine Garden Centre and stopped for lunch. What a find! Delicious and reasonably priced fresh food. Fried buttermilk chicken was excellent and coffee smelled very good, though didn't have any myself. Beautiful interior in rain or shine with very relaxed vibe and friendly service. Will be back. Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian options.
Nice cafe found this morning, cozy and friendly staff. Great coffee and a variety of options for breakfast. The korto breakfast has all the ingredients I loved - bacon, poached egg, cherry tomato , mushroom and avocado, most important was the sourdough ! Will certainly come back
We had a wonderful breakfast at Korto and would highly recommend it. The food was excellent, I need to eat gluten free and the staff member serving us was very well informed and super helpful. The establishment itself was lovely and clean, and the staff were delightful. They were working really hard it was a busy morning yet still took the time to be personable and friendly. We will be back soon, and hope that Korto has the success it so rightly deserves.
We've become regulars here already - food is delicious and staff always really friendly and helpful - especially this weekend when my daughter left her bag under the table and Paul was really responsive over email to confirm they had it. A huge relief and incredibly grateful! This is now our recommended local and looking forward to trying out the evening menu soon! Thanks again. Louise
Delicious food, also suitable for gluten free and veggie diets, without being health food crazy. Friendly and attentive serving staff. Really fantastic to have this so close by. Yummy Breakfasts and dinners. Thank you! Vegetarian options: Liked that there were options that were also gluten free. Harder to find both. Really delicious. Dietary restrictions: Different gluten free options.
Superb lunch today outside on their terrace. Friendly service & delicious food - huge portion! Easy free parking & dog friendly. Returning Saturday to try their dinner menu
Went here a while back and really enjoyed it. Lovely little place full of character. Great decor. Staff were excellent, friendly and super attentive. The food was pretty good although a little pricey for the quality, hence only a 4, wish it was slightly better then wouldn't really care about the prices. Definitely recommended though
I was really disappointed! I had the bircher muslie and it was watery, slimy and lacked any depth of flavour. The poppy seeds created an unpleasant gritty sand sensation. The addition of VAT and service charge on the bill was a bit much! Overpriced as it was in the first place... The place itself is stylish - very busy and loud on weekends. Child friendly, which is a blessing and a curse depending on your situation. As for the bircher - I've had a lot of variations on the dish - I would recommend they used the larger rolled oats and coconut yogurt to give it a creaminess while keeping it vegan.
We went for the last of many visits last Sunday and brought with a couple of friends over from Italy. Although not a surprise for us, we keep being impressed by the consistency of the the food quality, service and value for money...and our friends loved it! It is great to have this little gem just down the road, as it has never let us down once for either breakfast or lunch. We are looking forward to try out their new dinner menu as soon as we are back from our summer holidays.
