Good service but a bit pricey

AWFUL & RUDE Though I can't fault the van itself, clean and tidy - the staff were absolutely appalling. Rude & extremely patronising. This was my initial thought on arrival as I was interrogated as to the legitimacy of who I was purely because my Visa card was not signed - even though i had photo drivers licence many other bank cards and even my electoral roll card on me! Steve was so rude and I was very reluctant to hire the van - however I was in desperate need and they had something available at short notice. After a minor incident with the van - which i take full responsibility for - I was then told that the excess would be plus VAT? though this was NEVER explained to me initially and says NOWEHERE on the forms i signed that the £500 excess fee is to include VAT. the service was awful and so unhelpful from here on and I am so furious that companies are allowed to treat people this way in this day and age!

Really good service. We're local, and it made sense to use a local hire company. Sarah was polite and helpful, and her colleague Paul showed us around the vehicle and explained everything. Deposit returned promptly the following day. Great service would recommend.

Excellent Service. I have used them perhaps ten times over the last two years helping various people move. Vans have always been in good condition and they have always been available as promised. Good customer service. Be aware they are very strict on paperwork (you have to have an original posted document to prove address, which, can be a bit of a pain as so much is online/PDF these days!).
