Keen prices but miserable, ignorant staff. We wanted some wood cut and after about 20 minutes, the most miserable man turned up and did it. B&Q urgently need to work on customer relations! Some poor lady asked if he would cut some metal tubing and although there was a hacksaw hanging up, he just abruptly said no.

Gave it a 3 because staff can be a wee bit stand of, but when you do finally get one he/she are very helpful and friendly enough. Stock well laid out and easy to walk round standard B&Q a bargain can be got as well.

Ian and Baz over by paints completely useless, did their very best to ignore us. Stood at the counter while they both chatted away. Ended up walking away as neither of them could manage to serve or even make eye contact with us. To busy dossing around

There's a good range of products at this one. But if you want home furnishings you need hedge end. The twilight shift weren't that helpful when I was in today. Maybe it was an off day. I give it a 3 for "it does the job" if you need somewhere in Southsea to buy DIY stuff after 7.

Branch was busy. Staff were helpful. Less than expected in the garden department but could have been seasonal changes. Easy parking, small cafe, drinks machine and customer toilets.
