I ordered some flooring online via click & collect. It was easy to order and easy to collect. The store was clean and well presented. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the items purchased were in excellent condition.nThere are plenty of parking spaces, including disabled and the store is easy to get too, being just off the Black Country Route.nIt isn't too difficult to find things instore. Everywhere is well signposted and the prices are reasonable and match the self edge labels.nThere was also a fast food van outside the store which is a nice bonus, though the weather wasn't exactly outdoor eating weather, with storm Bert hitting hard.nA very impressive store and a very enjoyable visit. I'll be back
I had an amazing service in the Gloucester store, but this was not repeated at Wolverhampton. I'm a parent of a child with DDH which requires my child to be in a full lower body cast and so we needed to build her a table for independence. I took the plans into the Gloucester store, and they were amazing and recommended me the right wood, the correct screws and the cutting service cut all of the pieces for me. They also helped me choose the perfect colour for my daughter.nnSo, as you can imagine, based on my incredible service I recommended B&Q to another Mum who's child is due to have her operation next week only for her to be very upset that she was.nn- Ignoredn- Told that they wouldn't cut the woodn- They couldn't help her at alln- Made her feel like an inconvenience.nnSo here she is, a week out from her daughters surgery with no way of building her the table.nnHow can experiences be so different?nnWolverhampton, be better.
Been waiting 30 minutes for someone to come & cut the wood we need, asked 3 people but still waiting. Told the only person who can use the saw is on their break, store closes at 4pm & its now 3.15pm, another customer asked why they are taking their break when store closes soon, told that person started at 7am, surely they should've had their break long before now. Disgusting service, absolutely ridiculous, should have just said nobody available to cut wood today & we wouldn't have wasted so much time waiting
I have visited your store today and have come out extremely unhappy, after one of the staff could see I was half way through scanning my trolly on the self serve! She approached a colleague and said they have a toilet seat at the bottom he comes over to check we have scanned it! Which at the time we were still scanning our items and not even got to it yet we had stuff on top which we were about to take out and scan! I get they are there to check this but really wait till the customer as finished scanning! She also had security with her! Im a Retail manager myself for a large company I would never expect this from my staff it was just really rude. There is a time and this would be at the end of the transaction and not in the middle. Maybe a bit of re training is needed? I think the lady who said this was called Faye?nAlso if you don’t want people going through self checkout with over flowing trolleys then open more manned! I spent £287 … thinking back now I wish I had told em to stick it! Very poor customer service !!!
