We have just moved here from Lincoln, where we had an enormous B&Q so finding the Stroud one is somewhat smaller came as a bit of a shock to us. There is no wood cutting service and I was unable to locate a stud finder. The staff were friendly and helpful and I really appreciated the Timpson automated key cutting service.
Bought some paint and Adam Stroud Branch couldn't have been more helpful, re-mixing carefully a tin that I'd managed to get the colour wrong first time.nA few year's back the shop was struggling to offer a good service but seems to have bounced back well.
A quick visit as we needed some 18mm plywood and a few lengths of CLS. This was i think the second visit since it changed ownership. I was pleasantly surprised with the range of things being sold. Felt more like the 'Big box' stores in the States. Definitely be returning

Better care needs to be given to keeping the plants watered, especially with the warm, dry weather.The smaller the plant pot, the faster they will dry out. Perhaps standing them in trays of water would be better or have a shelter? This would provide more work, but at least the plants will get a good start. We all need water to live. I have no problem with the hard-working staff caring for these plants, it just needs better business management.
