Cancelled my car hire insurance two weeks before it started. Not had a refund and finding it very hard to find a contact number to call them. Definitely won’t use again.

Useless, never answer their phones. Tried AXA Insurance and AXA Assistance. Had a claim outstanding for over 3 months and they've still not settled.
The best insurance company in the world!
I have been waiting 7 weeks for an excess protection refund heard nothing from anybody and can't get through on the phone numbers just get put on hold for over an hour.
They just want to take your money at any price. Terms and conditions that are not clear so anybody that is not an expert would say yes to after find out what a doggy contract they have . I emailed them and this was the answer: "I understand this is not the decision you were looking for but I guarantee this is all within the Terms and Conditions of your rental. "
Got relayed 4 times, was very nearly 5 until I talked the last guy into taking me the extra 15 minutes, a 2 hour journey took a total of 9 and half hours
