This is a independent cafe place located in a quiet suberb of Bristol. All food is freshly made from the scratch and you can order here the best coffee in the town. I tried many dishes and I never got disappointed. Freshly made cakes and smoothies will satisfy the most sophisticated pallet.
We love coming for lunch at the avenue cafe, such fantastic food, great coffee and amazing service. They are also so very accommodating for my children. My daughter had a smaller chocolate milkshake in a takeaway cup so she didn't spill it. We will definitely be back.
Lovely little village cafe. Staff are very friendly and service is great. Iced coffee was excellent . Will have to try the food next time !
Some coworkers took me here for lunch today as I was down from Manchester for a few days. I had the eggs benedict and some fresh orange juice. Absolutely delicious and a lovely atmosphere inside.Food: 5/5
Thanks Avenue Cafe for baking us a lovely lemon curd sponge at such late notice. We were having some light lunch and instead of buying a cake from across the road we asked and they agreed to bake us a cake which we needed for the next day for a joint Birthday celebration. Yum Yum!!
The Supervisor was lovely. The breakfast was ok and the cakes are great. We went there to eat breakfast, study and drink for a few hours but we're not allowed to sit at a table big enough for us to study with books and I pads Didn't happen last time. Sadly this meant we had to leave. It's not a place to study and chill out sadly anymore. Business is business so understand them not letting us on a big table but it does mean we won't be coming here often. **Additional comment after staff response** Your suggestion to go somewhere else is duely noted, which we did and loved the atmosphere so likely won't come back, not to worry. The 3 star after further consideration was a little high. Although your poached eggs were perfect the potatos had no crisp to them and seemed as though they had been unintentionally steamed after roasting, hense "the breakfast was ok". ** Not all feedback will be what you would desire to get, but justified none the less** Parking: Limited parking out front.
Lovely cafe - very reasonably priced with exceptional service from staff. The food, coffee and baked goods were tasty, fresh and well presented. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
Very welcoming, food cooked fresh to order. The tea and coffee were lovely and hot with great flavour. We visited with our two year old granddaughter and whilst they don't offer a children's menu they were happy to accommodate our choice from a great choice on the menu. Given the great quality of the food it was well priced.
I have been to The Avenue a number of times and have always enjoyed a chilled coffee and the occasional, very nice breakfast. During one of my visits, I had noticed on their website that they did Private Parties. By chance at the time, I was looking for somewhere to hold my retirement party. I had already spent a couple of weeks trying to find a venue to hold this and I was struggling, as I didn't want a formal send-off, I wanted somewhere that my work colleagues, family and friends could sit around comfortably, mingle at the bar and have a posh bite to eat. I wanted some background music, somewhere relatively easy to park and a place that I could say my good-byes. This place seemed to tick all the boxes. From the very second I met the manager to enquire about my requirements, our greeting on the night, during the party and until the time I left at 11pm, I found all the staff to be polite, extreme helpful and they all went out of their way to make the whole evening a night for us all to remember. I have had so much positive feedback from all who attended, saying that they would not only recommend The Avenue but also, more than likely to use them for their very own special event. The atmosphere was perfect, the food was delicious, you catered for all our needs and at a very reasonable price! A MASSIVE THANK YOU to Costas, Georgia and the team for a fabulous evening and send-off. 10/10 We will see you again!
Got to place early and waited to open , we were made welcome and accommodated all 20 of us . From start to finish are experience was truly wonderful ,The manager was so lovely ,efficient, and welcoming ,lady taking our Order at the Till was patient and efficient and even recommended food choice options which was money saving, no mistakes and everything came out together which for 20 many restaurants would find difficult service was perfect . The kitchen and everyone who helped in preparing the food you are amazing food and drinks was fresh, hot and tasty Proper fresh orange juice Squeezed not from a carton .Outstanding . Nothing was too much trouble and i cannot say enough to compliment the entire work force well done and heres to many more visits Outstanding Kid-friendliness: caters for children great variety of foods smaller portions for children Parking: parked rightoutsde perfect Wheelchair accessibility: yes and is accessible for walkers and wheelschair which is amazing Dietary restrictions: Oatmilk and sourdough options
