Ordered at 6:55 for 7:30 collection Nd told they couldn’t do it until 7:45, said that was fine and went to collect the food and weren’t even prepping it until 7:45 after being told it would be ready for then!! Not very happy having to wait around!!
Haven't ordered from here for ages and just fancied a Mexican this evening without cooking and it hasn't disappointed!! It was absolutely amazing and definitely got those taste buds going!! Love love love
Excepted my order then stated we do not take cards, pointed me to the cash machine which was 20 minutes round trip only to discover that they hadn't even started my order and stated we are exceptionally busy and told me that it would be a 45 minute wait. Decided to detour to Jade Garden who were amazing and even offered a happy ending. Happy days. WOOF.
Went here with my boyfriend during early covid and the food was awesome. Really hot and really tasty. We had a little while to wait, and none of the staff were wearing masks, but those were the only downsides
laughable no one ever seems answer phone well other Pizza takeaways in Ilkley. Don't complain if have close
I have used Avalons regularly since they opened, food and service has always been excellent. Recently we have noticed a huge decline the food quality we order recently very overdone and very dry . I always collect my order as it works best for me, unfortunately when I arrive at the given time, the food is never ever ready , in fact I usually have to sit waiting for a long time, on occasions it takes over an hour from order to leaving the shop with my food. Maybe the two points above are connected ? it seems the staff are trying to keep too many plates spinning at once, rather than concentrating on their customers by supplying top quality food in a good time. certainly under 30 mins when being collected . This rating is based on several recent experiences over the last month or so. It does not reflect the high quality this shop is capable of. I hope these issues can be resolved as this used to be the go to place for pizza in town .
Always a great feast here. The lady who runs it netty/Nelly it a very attentive lady. Always come back to avalons as they treat my dog who is our family member the same as customers. Well done brilliant service.
Great food beef burritos especially recommended - 1 portion enough for 2 people. TIP - do not order online using the app as you’ll go to collect at the time the app tells you and you might be waiting an extra 45 mins as I was. Just go to the shop or call ahead, the app is useless. The food makes this place worth bothering g with though, despite the app and the wait. Friendly staff too. Enjoy!
Worth 5 stars just for the burritos which are lovely every time and will feed 2 people as a big snack. The buffalo chicken wings are really hot and coated with sticky tobasco based sauce, delicious. Reasonably priced and, so far always on time. ADDITIONAL. Waited 2 hours for my delicious food last night. Such a shame
The food is first class but they really need to sort their delivery. Ordered at 6.30 online, expected delivery time announced after you order and pay 19.50 it’s now 21.00 still no pizza!
