Only went in for the cocktail menu and was very impressed by the staffs recommendations and mixing. Fantastic and well balanced cocktails by staff members who care about quality. Not inexpensive but well priced for a couple of drinks.

Just visiting the area for New Year and came across the Moody Cow while exploring the town. What a great find.....booked on-line with ease, arrived and swiftly taken to table by a very friendly lady. Food arrived fairly quickly, it was great and mega tasty!! Very polite, friendly and efficient staff also made this a great experience. Will def return when in the area again. Thanks

We came just for cocktails and were really impressed. The menu cocktails are great but the barstaff are also knowledgeable enough to make you most classics like a Negroni or Boulevardier which aren't on the menu. The manager was really friendly and helpful, and had no issues with us just having drinks (though I'm not sure what the reaction would be to a group wanting the same as it was just two of us). All our drinks were well made and served in the correct glasses and measures. We also ordered a portion of chips which were a good portion of skin on rustic fries - very tasty.

Food excellent,service the same . Cannot praise Mathew the manager enough after an emergency requiring medical presence he was kind caring and calm. His after care was not lacking either, a phone call the following morning to make sure everything was Okay.
