My dog goes for day care, grooming and boarding here. Always found them to be friendly and attentive to the dogs and cats and their owners. They are reasonably priced and I would highly recommend them.
Avalon Pet Hotel is a fantastic kennels and pet hotel. Our two bulldogs, Bentley and Bosco both stay here and are superbly cared for. They both have multiple special requirements in terms of diet and medical issues but the team at Avalon are brilliant at taking care of everything needed. The customer service is fantastic and we would not choose any other location for our stays.
First time in kennels for our young dog and she was clearly happy and well looked after - we would be happy to leave her again at Avalon.
Excellent and really appreciated the support when we couldnt fly back due to cancelled flights. The photos they sent us put our minds at ease and it was lovely to see Kayla running and looking happy. Thankyou to the whole team.
We are grateful to have found Avalon as leaving our dog Judo at Avalon is like leaving him at his second home : Can't speak highly enough of the staff, and its a huge peace of mind to leave him there knowing he is there having a great time! They have also been accommodating in taking him at short notice at times which we appreciate. He looks forward to his next stay!!
We entrusted Avalon to care for our cat and it's evident she had a traumatic experience. When informing the staff we had come to pick up our cat she didn't make any eye contact and asked for payment immediately. The charge was more than quoted and was not explained or itemised. She never told us anything about how our cat had gotten along and even got the gender of our cat wrong. We went to accompany her to the shelter to pick up our cat and instead were told to meet her in the drive where she would hand her over. This was a clear indication that she didn't want us to see the cat hotel. When she opened the door we could hear our cat was stressed. We then received our cat and carrier which both stank of peewere visibly wet and dripping. We had to bath her immediately to get rid of the smell. She was very distressed by the stay, and continued crying for days. It was clear she was not provided a clean room or checked on. We will never use a cattery again because of this experience.
I have been using Avalon Kennels and Cattery for over ten years and my pets have always received excellent care. From puppyhood to elderly, boisterous to frail, the dogs have been well looked after and always bound in without a backward glance! Cooper loves Charlie! Our two cats, now 16, are settled and content in the cattery. Gavin and Sara have been always been very helpful. The grooming service is reliable and Freddie is always complimented on his appearance when out and about. Anne
Lovely clean kennels. We have 2 dogs who have been going here a while now, always come back clean and tired out. Friendly and accommodating staff all in all winner, winner.
My 1 year old cat fudge stayed in the Cattery back in august and just recently the cat hotel. He seems to love it there, he’s very well looked after. Staff are amazing and very friendly. Makes it so much more easier leaving your pet with them. Thank you to Sara and the team at Avalon.
Couldn't recommend Avalon Kennels enough! Luther is an excited 50kg Pup and he loves every minute! They handle his craziness amazingly, care is second to none!! Raw feed in continued, updates with pictures AND comes home smelling lovely!! Booked in for a few more holidays and I know he'll be happy to see all the staff, as soon as we pull up!! Thank you all!
