Very poor service at the cafe. The fact that the place was empty at lunch time on a Saturday should have been a warning. The assistant was less than helpful and quite rude. The selection was very limited. If you didn’t like cheese you had nothing. When asked if there was anything else, we were told that was all they had . We just left and I would not advise anyone to waste their time going.
Went here for food and booze for a trip up north. Plenty of good sandwiches and wraps. The cashier was so friendly.
Good shop and easy to navigate around.nCafe is poorly serviced & unwelcoming. There’s not a big selection but there’s always a problem behind the counter.
On the 21st of July, I initially visited this ASDA store and purchased a pack of hotdogs, only to discover at home that they had expired by over a week.nnI sent feedback to ASDA on the same day, but clearly, they did not care to fix the problem. When I returned to the store a week later 28th, I found the same expired products still on the shelves.nnAdditionally, I noticed a freezer covered with cardboard, and the ice-cream boxes inside seemed to be starting to defrost.nThis is unacceptable.nnI have frequently encountered issues with incorrect pricing, especially with multi-buy offers. The overall management of this store is poor and has led to a complete loss of trust in ASDA for me. I will not be returning and strongly advise others to be cautious.
I shop here sometimes and it’s usually ok but the Asian woman working at the sushi counter at lunch time was so friendly and helpful, genuinely put a smile on my face for the rest of the day. A wee ray of sunshine, thanks so much!
