Auto Direct has gone out of business and the new company Bristol Car Centre has taken over. The new owner and his staff are professional and courteous. I would have no problems recommending them to others.

PLEASE AVOID THIS GARAGE. Bought a car 1 year ago and have regretted it ever since. Has needed a complete new clutch, 4 tyres and has failed it's first MOT since purchasing it needing major welding work due to extensive rust on the sills. The garage they use next door clearly do not actually MOT the cars it is a scam that will cost you dearly in the long term.

had a car accident and needed a car desperately. Found one here, spoke to a nice older saleman who assured me the car was good, he'd MOT it and service it before I picked it up as I was a nurse and needed something reliable. The engine management light kept coming on and in the end we took it to a garage for a service. We'd paid £1300 for it. The garage said it had £800 of essential repairs on it as the car was dangerous and another £900 needed by the next MOT of stuff that would break down if not sorted. I was conned big time. Conned by a bunch of crooks who could see a desperate lady after an accident that wasn't my fault. I have no idea how it passed the MOT something very dodgy with this company. Avoid at all costs.

WARNING they have now changed there names to AutoDrive bristol. they are also pretending to be a Limited company i can assure you they are not. Sold me a car and tried to give me a trade receipt within a few weeks of having the car black smoke was pouring out the back engine oil seeping out everywhere and no power, they said they would fix it at parts cost all they did was shut the egr valve off which has made it ten times worse they now wont return my calls i have now started court proceedings. I have been told by 2 mechanics and by an independent vehicle inspector that it is unsafe to drive bearing this in mind he sold it to me when i was 8 months pregnant and had my 18 month old son in the back what a lovely bunch of men. Remember they are now trading under the name AutoDrive Bristol STAY CLEAR

Don't touch these bunch of cowboys with a barge pole! I paid a £200 deposit on a van with a Visa debit card with the remainder to be paid on delivery of the van to my home in Cornwall. The van was never delivered (sold to some one else?) For 6 weeks Auto Direct Whitby Rd Bristol refused to refund my deposit. And they could not care less, they had my money and knew I lived miles away. After many frustrating phone calls I contacted my bank for advice ( I had long known about protection with credit card transactions, but debit card transactions?) Within 3 days the £200 was back in my account via the Visa charge back service. But be warned, DON'T deal with Auto Direct Bristol who advertise on ebay, gumtree, parkers and auto trader
