Just visited this branch to report a problem with a cheque that I wrote. I was seen by a very helpful and informative lady called Jill, she was very nice to talk to and my problem was resolved brilliantly. So a big thank you to Jill for all her help and advice.
Would leave a worse star rating if I could. How is anyone who works supposed to get into the bank if working. Wallsend shut, forest hall shut, Whitley bay may as well be shut
Was there for opening on a Saturday, only one lady serving behind the desk but the lady at the door was so helpful. I got myself flustered trying to pay my Credit card at the machine so I didn't have to wait in the small queue. She took over as I'd made a mess of trying to pay money in and talked me through how to use the machine. I always go in on a Saturday as I prefer to use a bank, than the app. Will keep going back to the branch when I need to.
No branches to go to anymore, have to travel to this place or city centre. Parking is non existent and to top it off they are closed on a Wednesday
Branch closes at 15:30, counter service stops at 14:30, 1 harressed looking member of staff trying to calm everyone who arrives after 14:30, they closed the North Shields branch as well, perhaps time to look for a different bank.
I'm currently waiting in Barclays whitley Bay branch, I've been waiting almost an hour all I need is ID verification to add my name to my employers bank account! Everyone is being asked at the door, what they're here for, so far I know how much money 2 elderly people have in their bank accounts. Quite frankly appalling service all round, fortunately I don't bank here personally and never will
Not enough staff closed loads of branches in North East
A terrible reduction in services ,hours cut staffing down why , branches cut thinking of changing my bank ,if I can find a bank that stays open longer , come on bank management get you act together ,
Open until 3,30pm but no counter service after 2,30pm, how useless is that, becoming a pain to go in there, and some staff are downright rude, after 40+ years it could be time to look elsewhere, my god after 2,30 your wasting your time
Slow service, long queues, opening hours very short less than partime basically. Hate going to this place but unfortunately I have no choice.
