The new silly one way system is annoying but shopping or the staff there isn’t bad.nThe reason I’ve put this as a 1 star as when I have used the men’s toilets I’d like to avoid using public toilets but sometimes beggars can’t be choosers, while it’s visibly clean, the smell has me dry heaving to the point of tears streaming down my face and it isn’t a smell you’d normally get in a public toilet. I can’t describe it enough to do it justice but it definitely isn’t human waste that’s producing it.
Wife just got back from Asda at Sutton in Ashfield where there wasn't a check out open - not one.nWas told she would HAVE to use the self checkout as no staff free. She said she would leave the trolley there rather than use that so - fair enough - the lady offered to do it for her.nBUT - nothing would scan through. NOTHING. So the member of staff went to get one of the scanners people use as they are shopping - which actually worked.nCOME ON ASDA - GET A GRIP. GET SOME STAFF ON.nITS BAD ENOUGH PAYING FOR SHOPPING NEVERMIND HAVING TO DO SOMEONE'S JOB TO PAY FOR IT.nPOOR POOR POOR POOR
I can in to grab a few bits to top up for the week, as this is not my normal asda I got a little turned around I asked the a lady Vicki to help I think she was the cleaner. She was such a joy really helped me find everything I needed. Thanks lovely.
Reported a lost child couldn’t have been more than 5 roaming the store to a member of staff who was quite young with black hair I think he worked fruit who took the boys hand and walked him to the help desk so they could use the microphone to find the parents.nnJust thought it deserved praise as there is a lot of negativity posted about the store currently and it was sweet to see.
Enjoyable visit as don't usually shop in Asda. Needed a water filter jug but couldn't find any and member of staff only knew about what was going on in her own aisle, so a bit of training required there. However, nice lady on checkout who was very pleasant and efficient.
