Three weeks ago I entered this store for some basic shopping. I parked my car for an hour. Two weeks later, I received a letter from Parking Eye telling me that I had stayed there for two hours and the consequences were that I should pay a fine of £60. There was no parking ticket on the windscreen. I have tried to communicate by email with Parking Eye about this, but I have received an unhelpful response. Apparently, I have to take the matter up directly with Asda. Further communication by telephone with Parking Eye has been useless as the phone is never picked up.nI will make a further effort to discuss this in person with Asda.nOverall, the parking situation seems to be generally difficult.
Not that massive store as ASDA Nnormally . Couldn’t find everything here .
A couple of prices that made me laugh today. Let me know if you want a proper review.
You never find 1kg clover or 1kg butter pack as they only bring 500gm and 250gm and sell at full price. Never find asda essential eggs anymore . Ktc sunflower oil 5L is 8.95 in strood store while 8.5 on their website. This store is ripoff their website price is lower than strood store price. It's more than year still you can't find 1 kg butter . Also majority of asda reward card offers on weekend never seen in the store. Why you downloaded rewards card ? Diet coke for 6.50 24x330 ml but nothing on shelves , same product on sale for £8.00. When try to use weekend asda reward voucher than deduct just £1 off . Asking you to pay £7 . When you raise query that voucher states £6.50 . THAN YOU GOT RESPONSE WE DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. ITS JUST 50 P ENCE DIFFERENCE BUT STOP MANIPULATING EVEN OFFER PRICE OF REWARD CARD. You don't have 99% offers stated on website or rewards card. Scam store
Literally no checkout operators, staff blocking aisle to put out stock. How is someone in a wheelchair supposed to get through a blocked aisle? Shocking customer service. None of the staff look like they want to be there. Miserable shopping experience.
