Great shop always busy, could do more parking, but spaces appear quite quickly
Similar experience to the previous poster. Seems like they got overzealous about accusing people of stealing. Maybe it happens there a lot but that has nothing to do with me. I had 3 packs of baby food pouches and a pack of wipes in the pram that I had bought at that Aldi the previous day. I carry that stuff around because we are out and about a lot and the baby wants to eat. Told me I should have have a receipt for those items. Let me ask you, who carries around receipts for yesterday’s shopping? When I told them to check the camera, they said they usually would but wouldn’t on this occasion. How generous! I was going to let this slide, but in hindsight I felt so upset and humiliated. Shame because I really liked going to this store.
I came here directly after a pretty miserable shopping experience at the other four letter shop beginning with A.nThe staff here are always upbeat, friendly and efficient.nMy only gripe which lost them a star, is the way some items are stacked too high to reach safely.nI really wish I could get all of my shopping here, but it's just not specialised enough for all of my family's dietary needs. I remember when they first opened in Strood and sold a low carb bread. This stopped pretty quickly as I don't think there was much demand back then. It would be great if they brought it back.
Great store. Not necessarily a big one, but it is a great addition to supermarkets in the surbub. Prices are quite competitive too!
Went into the store this morning, handle broke in the item I was carrying from argos so decided to leave. Only to have security accuse me of stealing. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and will never use this store again
