We walked into the shop and were immediately discriminated for age being teenagers. We walked into the shop very politely and were very respectful of everyone. After being separated from our carers earlier on in the day we went looking for them. We followed them around the store and as we were about to catch up to then we were verbally abused by colleagues. We were told to stop messing about of which we were not as we very politely and respectfully walked around the shop. They came and confronted us for having antisocial behaviour of which we did not. They made a comment about our age and and then that we were being irresponsible. One of the members of our small group has autism and were targeted for acting ‘stupidly’, after the confrontation we spent 39 minutes calming down her panic attack as she was stressed and did not feel safe. We as young people felt personally discriminated as we strives to be different to the stereotypes and acting sensibly. Even with this mindset we were still targeted for being young people. I do not like Asda. Who knows the discrimination they may put towards others. I am ashamed that in todays society big corporations can still get away with discrimination. From this point onwards we will no longer be returning to Asda, I do not recommend shopping.
Caffe is ridiculous. Especially for a place what is huge and with the amount of shoppers in and out . No food available at dinner time , hot chocolates were look warm had to raise the issue with a member of staff which is embarrassing to say the least . But when your spending £25 on 3 warm drinks and 2 paninis I felt like I had my pants pulled down there and then . Door Staff were miserable when I asked for assistance and with no manners . No help nowhere on the shop floor. More staff needed . You want to feel welcome walking into a shop. Will not return. Cafe staff bloke was lovely tho I'll say that , so more of him please . 17/12/22 . 12:30 .
We took our grandchildren to Asda Living at Teeside Park to buy Book day costumes and treat them to lunch in the café. We ordered our food at 11.55 which consisted of 2 bacon sandwiches, three children's meals of sausage beans and chips with drinks. The bacon sandwiches were served within ten minutes, each one had 2 lukewarm rashers in. After 25 minutes and no food for the children I went to complain only to be told that she had forgotten about the order and hadn't cooked the meals saying that she was too busy but the café was quiet. I asked for a refund as we were disgusted and disappointed with the lack of customer service received. One of the children has cognitive difficulties and was very upset by the incident.
A good selection of items, however the queue at the checkout was very long and despite there being ample staff around, it took 10 minutes before the sole checkout assistant called out for extra staff.
Great place for the home and clothes. But the toy section is not as good anymore the selection and display just seems to be placed in the corner and not thought about.
I wanted some clothes but for some reason the changing rooms are still closed. There's no way I'm buying different sizes to try at home and return those I don't want - it's too much hassle. It's easier to buy from Amazon in that situation so Asda have lost a sale.
A wide range of items, but as always asda always seems dirty. This maybe due to their colour schemes in store Good for bargains
Excellent choice of products, food, clothing etc. Only down side is the increasing number of self-service tills and lack of staff to support them causing long ques and frustrated customers
They have a multitude of things to buy, we go there quite often. Reasonably quick to be served and the prices aren't extortionate.
Busy with Christmas Shopping but still plenty of parking. Shops accessible and no queuing. All round a good trip.
