I’m am so so disappointed and angry. You have let me down at the worst time possible just 3 days before Christmas! I have 2 children and a husband who’s severely disabled needs full time career and my own health problems several autoimmune diseases. My Christmas order has been cancelled because you have made a mistake and now we a suffering as a result of your error! you have taken money for my order from my bank and then because you couldn’t take it a second time you cancelled my order so I am £177 out of pocket and no Christmas shopping delivery coming today. It’s clearly states in your T&C that no money will leave account until order is on way it arrived so why was it taken more than once? And then cancelled because you couldn’t take it a second time? Obviously not as you had already taken payment for the order. Now I have to wait 3-5 days for refund you told me What am I ment to do it’s Christmas in 2 days! I made my order i paid the money and because of your error I’m now left with no shopping and no money?? My order number is 5132240000019
My daughter bought me some flowers for Mothers’ day. The flowers are beautiful - all 4 stems! And the price was in double figures! What a rip off just because it’s Mothers’ day. If you’re going to up the price for these special occasions, make sure the goods reflect it. Absolutely disgusting!
The pizza counter in this shop is useless. Every time I've been in, I get told that there is at least a 30 minute wait for a Pizza to be made. I can accept that the store has busy times, however, the staff are so rude and dismissive that I won't be bothering to go back again. The way they behave and speak to people it's like they're doing you a favour by serving you! Managed to order one from dominos - they made it and delivered it in less than the time quoted by the staff on the Asda counter! also got a smile!
Racist, Rude staff at Asda Lowestoft Im sharing my story in the hope that no one else is victimised and intimidated by some of the self service staff at Asda Lowestoft. I was scanning my shopping which included 10 bottles of water at the self service till at Asda Lowestoft when a member of staff approached me and asked me whether they were for personal or business use, she then proceeded to inform me that lots of Chinese restaurants were buying bottles of water and selling them by the cupful and making huge profits just because I’m Chinese does not mean I own a Chinese restaurant that’s an extremely ignorant and racist comment, I wonder, if I was a white lady buying the same 10 bottles of water whether she would’ve asked the same question I think not, I chose to give her the benefit of the doubt on this occasion, but a few weeks later I was in the same store at the self service checkouts when I had to call over several members of staff because the till wouldn’t register the items I was trying to scan, the same lady that I dealt with a few weeks earlier then went on to imply that I was trying to steal them, with another colleague behind her shouting “are they security tagged” they seem to think it’s a game to embarrass customers for their own amusement and entertainment. I am shocked and appalled that such nasty, rude behaviour is allowed to continue at this store with absolutely no consequences. It has also been brought to my attention the terrible reviews for this store that highlight that this is not an isolated incident and that many customers have been left extremely upset by certain members of staff at the self serve checkouts, obviously the management team have failed to tackle this problem or chosen to ignore it. To have such rude staff can only mean poor management from the top down, the staff at this store obviously have no respect for rules or authority and think that they can ride roughshod over management and customers with impunity. I would, however, have felt more reassured if the manager had actually bothered to reply to my email, but to date, I still haven’t received a reply from the manager, this would have gone some way to assuaging my reluctance to return to this store. I feel in order for any change to happen at this store this incident needs to be brought into the public domain as no one should feel so intimidated and victimised while doing their shopping.
I don't live locally but drop in whenever I am in the town to compare quality and costs to other supermarkets. It is no better or worse than some other supermarkets but I much preferred the layout of several years ago. I usually find a few items to purchase and staff are ok. Overall I think that the environment has lost a bit of friendly ambience and has become a bit of a sterile experience.
First time using the cafe, the staff offered no help to bringing over my tray I had my child asleep on one hip and when I ordered a mocha I was given a mug with what I believe to be chocolate powder in it, and no explanation of where to make my drink or how to do so. In addition can you please tell the young lad with long hair to stop running his fingers through his hair every 5 seconds when re stocking the fridges.. very unhygienic.
I love the store, but I think they need a whole new staff restructure. Many of the staff are rude and abrupt. Think yourself lucky you have a job. Rather than saying to me politely to wait 1 moment, when I asked about a security tag, the woman abruptly said to me "Oh I can't do 2 things at once!" Such a shame.
Short older lady on the pizza counter must be the most rude arrogant person I’ve come across last week I go in at 5.40 it has a notice no pizzas after 6 so I was 20 mins before that she refused to make me a pizza even though I mentioned I came all the way from kessingland she didn’t care and bluntly refused as she was too busy. Today I go again and it’s a 45 min wait for a pizza I give up with this shop now such awful customer service
I have a holiday home in Corton and always visit the lowestoft store I can honestly say I have never had a disappointing visit. ALL the staff are so friendly and help. Nothing is too much trouble .Your staff training is amazing.
Great store with excellent selection of products, including food, household items, tech, toys, toiletries and clothing products. Good prices and a vast store with a big car park.
