Zero Stars: Unacceptable Treatment by ASDA StaffnnI am appalled and shocked by the horrific experience I had at the ASDA store on Christmas evening. The incident has left me feeling distressed, disrespected, and utterly disappointed in the store's customer service.nnAt approximately 18:45, I was shopping for Christmas essentials when I realized I had forgotten cooking oil. I politely asked the cashier if I could quickly grab the oil, and she kindly granted me permission. As I was hurrying to retrieve the oil, a male staff member confronted me, using abusive language and physically pushing me.nnThe incident was captured on video, which clearly shows the staff member's aggressive behavior. I am still trying to process why ASDA would employ someone who thinks it's acceptable to verbally and physically assault a customer.nnAs a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and dignity. ASDA's staff member not only failed to meet these basic expectations but also violated my fundamental human rights. No customer deserves to be touched, pushed, or abused while shopping.nnI demand that ASDA takes immediate action to:nn1. Suspend and investigate the staff member involvedn2. Provide a formal apology and acknowledgment of the incidentn3. Ensure that all staff members undergo training on customer respect, conflict resolution, and zero-tolerance policies for abusennUntil then, I will not be shopping at ASDA, and I urge others to reconsider their patronage.nnASDA, you have lost a customer and damaged your reputation.
I brought to the attention to a manager that there was no Heinz vegetable soup on the shelves. Straight away he said there’s none in the warehouse without checking. On the same day I spoke to a supervisor and said since when where dogs allowed into the store. She said it must be a guide dog. I pointed it out that the woman had a Yorkshire terrier in her arms. The supervisor wasn’t bothered and walked away. This store has gone right down. The shelves are half empty. Staff don’t give a toss. There’s normally only one person on the till. Security guard is more interested in his phone otherwise he would have seen the woman walk in with the dog. Security only look up when the buzzer goes off on the exit door
This branch is not my local store so I'm not sure if it was beca, use it was smaller or if I just couldn't find it but I walked several aisles trying to find refrigerated OJ and couldn't find it-nor could I find staff that weren't on tills.nIn addition the ladies toilets were all out of order so there was a queue at the baby changing room.
Click & collect..What a joke.nnTime wasted doing the order. 5 miles there and 5 miles back. Half an hour wasted in storeyes you have to go in store to collect and “we can’t find it”nnThen you wait 5 to 10 days for a refund and it will show up as a non collection.nnSo basically I tell you what I want and pay for it, drive to collect it, waste my time and money on my day off. You do absolutely nothing, then keep my money a week or 2 and then say it’s all my fault.nWhat is it, “Get the asda feeling”!nI’ve certainly got the never again Asda feeling
The biggest supermarket in the area. Good sized clothing section. All the expected isles although some have been renamed for the locals! It's on a mid sized trading estate with ample parking and good access.
